Gameplay reminds me of Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Ah yeah! I can't wait for this to come out on...
Oh wait. It's a Sony exclusive.
Damn.
Oh well, Still looks pretty awesome.
One Strip! One Strip!Probably more likely to be a side playable character like Nightwing/Robin/Catwoman were in the Arkham games.
So far, the ground combat, the web-zipping, the stealth, and the Spidey-Sense are taking and expanding upon the foundation that the Beenox games started (Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Spider-Man: Edge of Time, and the two "The Amazing Spider-Man" movie games), I think is a great idea, though I wonder if we'll get some Spider-Man: Web of Shadows influences as well.
@Hobgoblin Mr.Negative can corrupt people by touching them.
Man, even since that first Spider Man game way back for the original Playstation, the spidey games have just been upping the ante more and more.
It helps that Pete is that just a cool character to work with in games: he's strong, but not too strong; fast, but not the fastest, works street level, but can also believably fight higher level foes under the right circumstances. He just works well in Video games, especially with technology advancing more and more to make his abilities easier to showcase.
One Strip! One Strip!Wouldn't surprise me if Miles was dlc or a pre-order bonus
35 year old white man.I guess that explains Eddie getting a Symbiote that murders Symbiotes.
It seems Miles is part of the story.
Meant playable version of him
35 year old white man.I'm glad the best Spider-Man villain (Mr. Negative) gets a role in a spider-man game, at long last.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."A character name Yuri talking with Spider-Man who's played by a voice actor also named Yuri. Talk about meta.

That tripped me up
35 year old white man.You know what, let's get some more Spider-Man games of the past to influence the current one :
From the HD console and PC versions of the Spider-Man 3 game, infamous for its boat load of unintentionally hilarious quick time events. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows happened to be the last game to follow the trend:

I love how Wolverine punches him in the face several times in situations where it doesn't even make sense.
Wish I had a PS 4 so I could buy this. I wanna support because I personally know someone who worked on it.
The games' Director has dropped some story-details:
- Peter Parker here is a 23-year old college student and has been Spider-Man for 8 years.
- Aunt May works at Martin Li's/Mister Negative's Homeless Shelter.
- Norman Osborn is running for mayor.
- While Peter Parker is focus, Miles will have a significant role in the story meant to showcase "another side of Peter."
So yeah, sounding like Miles does get powers at some point in the story and the two develop a Mentor/Mentee relationship. Honestly, the status quo of the characters here kind of sound better than the comics lol
Was his relationship to Mary Jane mentioned?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Having Spider-Men makes me happy.
Because you know Peter would want to call him Spider-Boy but Miles ain't having any of that BS.
Nothing about MJ. Given that Pete is a College Student here, I wonder if both her and Gwen will be in the game?
Be awesome if Spinneret(Renew Your Vows version of Mary Jane)was playable in this.
Don't like that Mr Negative is in this game. No one in their right mind should want to use anything from the comics god awful Bland New Day era.
At least Peter's not a teenager in this game.
If there's one thing Brand New Day era did right, was bring in fun new villains. Mr. Negative may be Spidey's best foe since Venom and Overdrive is also a great secondary foe allá Shocker.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."
Pure, liquified HYPE.
I did not doubt Insomniac once. This looks fantastic so far, and I'm gonna get my hands on it.
