I liked the Fantasy League subplot where The Flash got trapped in the Phantom Zone for a year; the hero nobody would pick not even Crimson Fox would pick herself but she ended up doing the best.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureDespite all the DC references, I find myself disliking the show. Its another Everyone Is a Dick Except One Nice Person and She's Clueless kind of comedy and I don't enjoy those. Unless they change it a lot soon I'm dropping it.
(Also, Jack O' Lantern was a hero. The bad one was an impostor. Get it right dammit.)

I don't think the Christina Kirk character is a dick. She seems like she's trying to be nice to Emily. And the other employees were kind of dickish, but in the end, they were nice to her.
The only real dick is Van. Everyone else is just worn down. Remember in the pilot they mentioned that the only reason Emily got the job is because their bosses keep leaving and dying. "I'm not getting attached again."
Yeah, if you think those characters are dicks you must work with some tremendously nice people.
Van's a dick, but in a harmless funny way-there's very little actual malice there.
Ron is pretty nice, as is Teddy (though Teddy is the more worn down of the two) and Jackie has to both take care of Van and is choosing (for no real reason other than she can) to help Emily as well. If she gets a little snarky while she's doing it I'd say that's more than deserved.
The reason Van is being a dick is just because he wants to be in Gotham and can't stand Charm City.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureAh Van's got plenty of reasons for being a dick, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a dick. An explanation is not an excuse. Course, if he wasn't a dick he'd probably be less funny.
Another solid episode this week-I love how Van went full Dylan with his sad songwriting, mounted harmonica and all, and I'd watch an entire episode of Van and Emily as a musical duo.
I also liked the little nod to Van being not 100% incompetent, and I find the 'same perfume for wife and mistress' joke far funnier than I probably should.
Also, has no one given thought that Alex might still be the Olympian but get his powers from his costume? I doubt its something we'll see explored, but still.
"Dork Knight"
It's such an easy, corny insult, but I love it all the same.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Seeing Robert Buckley just makes me miss iZombie more.
I have to imagine that in a superhero world being a henchman really wouldn't be frowned on that much-like stripping to put yourself through college or something.
Aiding and abetting a criminal in the execution of various riddle themed crimes tends to be frowned on in any sort of world.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I love the line that dating a henchman is like dating a bassist. "Either it'll flame out or they die." "Just like a bassist."
iZombie is getting another season, right? I thought it was confirmed, it was just being oddly delayed.
This is a world where accidentally creating one clown villain every three months is considered something unfortunate that could use improvement, but not anything to get worked up about. Considering the way they revealed it to Emily, I think comparing it to stripping but more illegal is a good one.
iZombie comes back 1st Tuesday in April and it will be a 2 hour premiere.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureA really bad sitcom, it's gonna be cancelled after only one season.
Would you care to elaborate?
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The acting is just plain horrid, and the ratings will hit rock bottom eventually before the season is over.
"I'm taking my grandpa back to the escape room. That's what he calls the nursing home. He solved it again."
I'm kinda torn whether or not I would call the series "good" per se, but it's lines like that that keep me watching.
Ah looks like this show has been pre-canceled, NBC pulled its remaining episodes from airing.
I really liked this show too-Emily's honesty rant was great stuff and I enjoyed every episode. At least the last three episodes will probably be available online somewhere.
Damnit that sucks. Is it still available on the app? I fell behind awhile ago but was planning on catching up soon.
Feels like they had more to do with this. I mean Gotham was meh when it started but it got better.
Though I only watched the first episode of this and this thread didn't update much. How many episodes were actually aired?
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Only 9 episodes aired.
It didn't help that NBC took an unexpected break for 3 weeks between episodes 5 and 6.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureGotham's longevity despite having the worst writing of any show on air still astounds me.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Just going to shoot me in the back and walk away whistlin dixie, huh. You want to take this outside?
I don't care for Gotham in it's present state but I don't hate it either - I'd argue Supergirl, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow have all had periods of being objectively worse.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Any and all of Jim's plotlines have been substandard. Otherwise, I quite enjoy Gotham.
I like Powerless well enough, but I'm not particularly sad to see it go. It was ok at the best of times. Vanessa Hudgens and Alan Tudyk were great though.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!
It was great that the video featured Prince Evillo, too. I really want more of those deep cuts on the show.
