I kinda get the gist of it, but if it's a spoiler then it definitely needs to go.
For someone who has no knowledge of MLP (and, for the record, I am one of those people), the picture makes absolutely zero sense. Delete with prejudice.

Doesn't make sense, and since it's a spoiler, I'm pulling it.
Check out my fanfiction!Could an Arc Number date work?◊
That seems like it could work. It could be interpreted as a funny coincidence, but then it's at least a funny coincidence that's pointed out. Which is something, at least.
Check out my fanfiction!Hmmm, currently at a tossup between 5 and 7.1. While 5 uses an Arc Number, 7.1 had a film-based event set on a date relevant of the film.

How appropriate of all days. That also reminds me of the marketing for The Omen. [1]◊
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I also must agree on 5. As ubiquitous as Back to the Future is, the dates on those posters are still only significant to those who are familiar with the movie.
The same goes with The Omen. And with 11-11-11, the poster looks cluttered, and it's a little confusing whether that's just the title of the movie or just a date on a poster that forgot to include the title of the movie.
I think the Ben-10 one is perfect in its simplicity. You can see the title is Ben-10 and that the release date, "10-10-10," coincides with it. It's completely self-evident, even if you're not familiar with the cartoon.
derflatermouse.Actually, I think the biggest mark against the 11-11-11 poster is that giant honkin' watermark.
Moon◊Ben 10 is the clearest example.
I get what the Omen means without reading its summary just from the photo but Ben 10 is more simple (I assume it is about a false christ and 666 is the mark of the devil or something, not sure how much i got wrong but whatever).
I don't get Saw at all.
I get what back to the future means but not sure if i would have been able to understand without seeing the film.
Oh, yeah. That, too. Good point.

Definitely Ben 10.
I've never seen any of these works and I don't get any of the dates.
I'm still going with Ben10.
(Annoyed grunt)I get the Back to the Future date, at least. Still, given that the Ben 10 example makes sense even to a guy like me whose knowledge of the show is limited to "kid transforms into aliens and Colonel Campbell is his grandfather", it seems like the clear winner here.
Moon◊The Ben10 one is definitely the best so far. It clearly links the date to the name of the show.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?4 Ben 10 as well I didn't even know what it was about at all
But I did find this◊ while looking for a higher quality version of 5 but it has too many issues.

Just.. no.
I count 8 votes for Ben 10, 1 for The Omen, and (apparently) 1 for Back to the Future.
Have we reached a consensus?
Ben 10 it is.
While the show being pictured is an example, the image itself has a couple of issues.
1. Unless you've actually seen the show, it's kind of hard to tell what's going on there. All it shows is three characters, and then five years later, the three characters again. It isn't clear to someone who's watching the show exactly why the release date is significant. (For reference, the first picture is from the show's first episode, while the second is showing the characters finally accomplishing the thing that those character formed their club to do.
2. To anybody who is familiar with the show in question, the second shot is kind of a huge spoiler, since it's supposed to indicate that the CMC finally get their cutie marks, something which has been anticipated since the first season.
In short, the image doesn't make much sense to anyone not familiar with MLP, and you can't explain it without spoiling a major plot point.
