Is it daytime in the game? I'm a bit confused as to when this is all taking place.

From what I can tell it's the middle of the night, and the clock basically chimed midnight.

So the characters would have to go to bed if they wanted to be up at any reasonable hour.

@MOBA!Mary: When you stuff what is clearly a Smash Bros character inside a MOBA, bad things happen.

@Hunger Games: It was great. 10/10 would give Sadness poison again.

@Day 4: I'm no sure I can emphasize enough how much I need to have Princess Mary screw over the trope where princesses get kidnapped by stabbing her captor square in the face. Many times. And then act as if nothing happened. Regardless of how many people were watching.

x4 Same. I love Peridot now, she's so darn cute!! I almost joined as Ruby because of a recent RP I was in, but I decided against it because someone was signed up as Steven himself at the time.

x5 Stevenbomb is the term for when CN airs five brand new Steven Universe episodes five days in a row during one week. Lots of feels, tears, and shattered minds are usually involved.

And it looks like Ben is gonna end up playing the resident fairy tale "heroic knight in shining armor" role.

I've even come up with a couple of medieval-fantasy inspired alien concepts, including DragonFly, a version of Stinkfly with more reptilian, draconic features, and WolfMutt, a more obviously lupine version of Wildmutt.

Funnily enough, I can't think of any fairy tales that had any kind of inventor in them, alcoholic or not.

I can't think of any fairy tales or fantasy stories with cyborgs.

The closest I got is Full Metal Alchemist and right now I don't think Adam's new augs are powered by his own body but by magic.

You could simply have Rick become a medieval blacksmith or something. Maybe even something inspired by Hephaestus, the god of the forge.

Well, Specter Knight is practically the Grim Reaper now, albeit grounded.

I ultimately decided on the Starswirl style outfit for Twilight because, as a magic specialist, it makes sense for her to fill the Mage role.

Yeah, I'm more or less going with 'generic medieval blacksmith'. His lab is more of a medieval workshop now; complete with forge, anvil, etc.

But it's still filled with booze.

I believe it is now called 'mead.'

Asgore is basically an Obviously Evil overlord right now in appearance.

Well, he makes jokes and he's a Butt-Monkey.

Now the trio of Ben, Twilight and Rex follow the Fighter, Mage, Thief trio pretty dang well (Ben as the fighter, Twilight as the mage, and Rex as the thief), if you took some liberties with Rex's "thief" role being more of a rogue/bard sort of thing and Ben more of a shapeshifting Fighter.

Choice drawings Thrall. I'd ask if you were doing that for all of Ben's transformations, but that seems a bit excessive. Still,

Anyway, Kieri's outfit is mainly inspired by Robin from Fire Emblem Awakening. Just seemed to make sense, being a sword fighting magic user and all.

I would, but I'm having a hell of a time coming up with things for some of these aliens (like what would I even do for Upgrade and Cannonbolt???). I have come up with "Orc Arms", "CentR8", "Grey Master", and "GhoulFreak", but the others are completely giving me the slip.

I'm getting a Centaur vibe for XLR8...hmm, I'm still looking up possible things for Up-Grade. One site mentioned afrit, but those are more Arabic than medieval.

EDIT: Woah, I was trying to find something for your post before you edited it! And then we both came up with centaurs!! Weird .

The problem is that, in a medieval setting, Upgrade would be completely and utterly useless. His entire shtick is that he is a liquid metal creature that upgrades technology, which isn't really in abundance in the middle ages. My thought was instead that he's a sort of Magic-based being that improves magical artifacts. Wouldn't know what to call that though or what that'd look like...
