Phew, that's my entry post for Jack done. I still have a few pages to read to get the general idea of the situation, but I had a question.
Is the city currently only populated by the book golems, or are their ordinary people walking the streets as well? Reading it, I wasn't entirely clear so I thought I'd ask.
There are book golems around, as well as civilians. This being 'Reverse Animal' day, the humanoid ones will be turned to various animals//monsters/robots/things with no opposable thumbs and vice versa.
Still, they managed to go through their everyday routine despite being an person/animal previously, albeit with difficulty.
"A post per day keeps the GMs away!"Yeah, there's still the other people in the city about; they're just all under the same day conditions you guys are, so currently the vast majority of them have been turned into creatures of some sort.
Anyway, sorry my last post was a bit uninspired; I wanted to get a response up so people wouldn't be waiting on me, but was kind of distracted at the same time.
Now I'm gonna get going for tonight pretty soon. Tomorrow I've got an evening shift; there's a chance I might be able to post before it actually, but I wouldn't count on it. Though I won't be back home until somewhat late, it's not a long shift so I shouldn't be worn out much.
I'll probably have the day boss show up sometime this week; not sure when just yet though.
You are reading this.I think Cole is a bit too eager to start electrocuting people.
@alley: Also, the book golem, when in proximity of the any of the people into animals, will follow them around and act as if they are the animal's owners.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!Alright, cool thanks. Are the golems your typical faceless, vaguely humanoid ones just made out of books, or are they more defined and human?
Oh, and just to double check, the people outside the Library currently would be Virgil, Dante, Cole and Rex, correct?

The first one I think. I don't Firock put that much detail into them.
Also, . On the next break day, Vergil is soundedly and embarrassingly defeated in a wrestling match on the next break day........by either Morty or Karat.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!Karat.
Karat.
Now I just imagine a giant diamond with horns running around shouting bullshit
(holds pool noodle threateningly) Do you want to know what we do to artists?@DBL I don't think you're making a mess of things, honestly.
Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating.Apart from failing to keep to character and holding the entire game up repeatedly.
"Yup. That tasted purple."But have you been? The game's going along fine—there are plenty of people who take breaks or wait a while between posting. I don't know about keeping in character, since I haven't seen Lyrical Nanoha yet, but you're not the first or the last one to have trouble with that side of it.
Don't let the game stress you out too much, though, if you really don't want to play anymore.
Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating.Seeing Dante and Virgil argue with each other is actually making me like Dante's character a lot more
Just edited the recap page. Let me know if I made a mistake.
Gotcha.

Ben wasn't going after Cole. Ben was getting exasperated that no one seemed to be worried about Mary (or at least weren't showing it or trying to stage a rescue) and he made a rash decision to go do it himself. So he was going after Mary and not Cole.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.I feel like poor Rex has picked up the end of Cole's leash and he may end up regretting that
Plus, Ben was simply at the end of his rope when it came to the whole Ruckus incident, and he felt personally humiliated when he found out they were a group of thugs-turned-cultists. In his mind, he could've stomped out the spark of the Ruckus before it grew into a fire on Day 6 when he and Twilight were in the Ruckus factory. He was about to start bashing in heads before Twilight talked him down, and now he's kicking himself that he didn't do that when he had the chance.
There's also the fact that Ben hates those who harm innocents, particularly kids like him, and especially when they do it For the Evulz like the Ruckus. The Ruckus basically coming off as a Karma Houdini during the Day 7 to 8 transfer and Ben getting Balefully Polymorphed into a helpless lizard was the straw that broke the camel's back for him. He was so emotionally invested in the chase against the Ruckus and trying to rescue Mary that when he found out Mary was basically warped by OFB into thinking he was her friend, he simply got burnt out, hence his demoralization and little "what's the use?" moment.
He may be a hero, but he's also 10 years old and he's easily overwhelmed when things go over his head in lavish ways like that.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither. At this rate Sans is gonna be back at the library before Cole finds him
Probably. Unless he tries to sneak out again I suspect no one's about to let him leave on his own.
Which I just finally got around to seeing Civil War and I'm trying to not think too hard on the implications right now lol
Aren't Rex and Cole inside the library now?
"You said you had a dream... That dream... Make it come true! ... If anyone can, it's you!" - N (shortened) Oh, and I'm a girl.I'll probably post something tonight; Rick and Morty are working in the lab.
As for what they're building... well... go watch the one where dogs take over the Earth for a clue.
I keep mistaking this Jack for the other Jack who just left, haha. Then I realize he's not actually out of character.
Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating.Yes.
CM: So I guess that means Cole is the Winter Soldier, now? XD
@Deis More how badly your friends trying to keep you in a "safe" prison might go. Thankfully Cole isn't as destructive as Wanda though, but. Gah.
FUN LOCOMAN FACT: I read all my dialogue in Rick and Morty's voice as I write, sometimes belching when appropriate, then transcribing it.
(I can do... passable impressions of both characters note . If people want, maybe I could do a vocaroo thing where I read some old posts people nominate.)
Actually if I'm going to keep fucking things up this badly it's probably a sign I should leave the game again. >.<
