Tropes I Happen To Exhibit

  • Chronic Hero Syndrome: No seriously. Every time I see trouble, I feel compelled to help. But I'm very well aware that I can't help everyone and there are some things that a stranger can't help with. Still, it's hard. I still feel like helping. I also have a hard time saying no to anyone who asks for my help. Unless it's something I'm very sure I can't help with.

  • Contralto of Danger: According to my brother and father, I sound like Jay Baruchel from How to Train your Dragon. One of the things that makes people think I'm a guy at first.
  • Gamer Chick: Downplayed because I'm not exactly messy and not exactly skilled in gaming.
  • Gosh Dang It to Heck!: I do this whenever I quote/act out scenes with swearing but I don't want to "bleep" it for the sake of not breaking the flow of the sentence. Plus, it's fun finding substitutes.
  • Lady Looks Like a Dude: Not that I try to look like a dude, but I find pants and long shorts more comfortable (and, ahem, you know what a guy could see if a skirt blows in the wind).
  • Mistaken Nationality: New people in real life tend to think I come from USA, my parents are American or studied/lived in there, or I've been there because of my Surprisingly Good English even though I look Filipino. To be fair, it's usually only a few seconds.

  • Named After Someone Famous: I don't know how famous/well known she is now, but yes, I'm named after a celebrity, specifically a singer. Thankfully for me, it's not someone well known in the Philippines so my name's just an unusual name.
  • Spell My Name with an "S" My name has been mispelled by strangers a few times, mostly because of Philippine phonetics. What's more funny though is if a fluent English speaker heard it, it'd be easy to spell.
  • Tomboy: Mostly because of what I like (the mentioned stuff, as well as Digimon and a bunch of other stuff) and the fact I don't really act like a girl. I do like being one though.

I plan to add more stuff (and details on some of the things I like) on this.
