That does seem dodgy. How about a combination of one of panels 1-4 and 5 from this◊?
^ 5+6 would make a good image for Too Much Information.
I can barely read the text in those panels, so I'm giving it a .
And regarding the source of that recently added image, I realized that the same editor had uploaded another pic for Armor-Piercing Response from that same work.

Eye straining to read.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhen you clicked on that link, did it take you to Photobucket or to the actual image? The former is way too small, but if you do a "view image", the actual pic is a lot more legible.
For the record, here's what it looks like at wiki size. I think it's alright for Too Much Information as an improvement over the current (which erronously suggests it is an Audience Reaction rather than something happening in-universe), though I wouldn't mind better suggestions. I think the text itself is less important than that you can see it's a lot of information that someone else would rather not have heard.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"All I can see from there is that the second person is not happy with what the first person is saying. That itself could mean many different tropes and you have to squint through a Wall of Text to get why.
Not bad, It shows good contrast between the characters who tell white-lies and characters who are the trope. We might have to ask the artist for a bigger/high-res picture though...

It does clearly show the trope, which is always a plus. That kind of text isn't the easiest to read, but it's not that bad, and it's simple enough to not be too cluttered.
Check out my fanfiction!Yeah. And if we decide to use that image, the font could always be edited into something more clear, anyway/
9 has my vote, regardless.
(Annoyed grunt)Another suggestion: Middle panel of this comic. The words are succinct, and the background character's expression show that this was probably not the best time to be direct.

The whole three panels from the suggestion in 9 would do the job, if we can get permission to use them. The middle panel from the suggestion in 14 could do the job, but I don't like that it's lacking context.
Overall, my preference is for 9 at the moment, although what 14 has going for it is that the artwork is far neater and just plain better in my opinion.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMI also prefer 9. We probably don't need all 3 panels though. 1+3 seems sufficient.
I'd vastly prefer 14 for quality reasons alone.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I'd be fine with swapping 7 for the pic on Too Much Information and using the middle panel of 14 for this page.

It's only just become available or I'd have suggested it before. How about the last panel of the following page from Girl Genius?
It has the advantage of showing two doses of brutal honesty in one panel.

Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMWould like to see a comparison between 14 and 19 at wiki size; I have the feeling the former would be clearer because of the larger text.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I just extracted the Girl Genius panel and it's 300 wide without any cropping or resizing required, so the text will be just as readable as it is in the comic.

Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMNot keen on 19. The visuals are not adding anything to the text.
What's 19 supposed to link to? It just links to the most recent page, which isn't an example.

Check out my fanfiction! As I stated, the last panel on that page is an example.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMThat's two girls complaining about their families. There's nothing brutal about it. There's no expectation about them lying about it.
Check out my fanfiction!
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
The current image has poor context and directly links to someones deviant art page. It doesn't seem brutal when the character in question is clearly flustered by saying it.
And to be brutally honest I have the slight suspicion that the person who added this image did so to promote the newest chapter of his/her MLP fanfic.
