More likely a sequel hook or a hook to something that's going to happen in the next season of Go.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if this just leads to a "Teen Titans VS Teen Titans Go!" movie in another year or two, and the teasing a season 6 was just a misleading tactic to put more asses in seats.
That would be way too cruel.
If that happened I am pretty sure that people would want the Go! creators heads on a silver platter.
I would be among the ranks for sure.
Hm. Good point.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...Those who would want their heads already do, and that hasn't stopped them yet.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Fair point
I personally would be very angry but I wouldn't wish them misfortune on a personal level
Wonder how overworked the staff is, with all the episodes they have to keep popping out without that much pause.
Wake me up at your own risk.Didn't they even make a joke episode about the amount of work they do?
One Strip! One Strip!Yes. It was for the 200th episode.
Lowart is a youtuber doing a series of video analyzing the 2003 cartoon's strengths and weaknesses, praising what worked and criticizing what didn't.
Part 5 of these videos is out today, but I wanted to start you guys off with his season 2 videos due to his focus on and opinions of Terra's storyline.
So, I've recently stated that as much as I like the old series, I'm not totally down with it returning.
It had it's time, and it was a good (though not perfect) run, but you have to move on instead of clinging to the past.
That and I'm not sure if it would fair quite as well since, while still pretty well known, Anime is not quite as big as it was back then.
But it suddenly dawned on me that there is one upside to a potential revival of the the old series:
Finally getting Donna Troy on TV...
Well ok, Super Best Friends Forever beat them to that punch as well as the Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, but still, if we got Donna, we could finally see the classic titans, the Fab Five together for the first time in animation. I mean, X-Men: Evolution managed the same with the original five Xmen despite the difference in ages and positions (Jean and Scott being veteran members, Ice Man being part of that series' version of the New Mutants, Beast as an Adult and Teacher, and Angel not even being an official part of the team), so it'd be nice to see the Titans do a similar homage.
That alone might not be worth a return of a show that's long past gone, but it'd still be nice.
One Strip! One Strip!Eh I say either wait until Young Justice find some way to do that in some loose adaption to Titans Hunt or some ambitious genius makes his own DC Universe which features his own take on the Titans which puts a significant focus of the Fab Five (ie my orginal DC Multiverse).
I feel it's a bit awkward to bring this show back - and risky, given that CN might just up and cancel it, or the new showrunner might give it the Nu-Powerpuff Girls treatment and remove all of the old voice actors - but it's definitely something I'd give a watch. There aren't too many superhero cartoons I know of that aren't meant to promote a film series.
Besides Teen Titans Go and DC Super Hero Girls, of course.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!After YJ wraps, they should do a Titans with the overall tone/art of the DTV films. Would also be perfect for getting Donna Troy in there.
x2 Well for the sake of arguement there’s Batman The Brave and The Bold (could be one for the Dark Knight but given its lighter tone and focus on other heroes I will disagree), Legion of Super-Heroes (could be one for Superman Returns but since its focused more on Legion mythology than Superman it gets a pass), Young Justice, majority of the DCAU shows (sans Batman TAS), majority of the Marvel Animated Universe, Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (well if you argue that its not made in responce to the then upcoming Avengers movie as that “honor” goes to Assemble), Hulk and the Agents of SMASH, and The Super Hero Squad Show.
There's also Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters, where they just gave up making it a movie and just made a cartoon instead. Would the ''Big Hero 6" series count if the movie came out four years ago and there's no plans for a sequel?
Some of the ones you mention (Brave and the Bold, Legion of Superheroes, etc) do count since they were purposely timed around the release of those movies, but the beauty of how WB and DC used to do their tie-ins is that they greenlit the shows to push those brands more around the time of the movie, but they still let the creative crews do their own premises and stand out on their own. They didn't have to insert movie-accurate costumes and characters, or recreate scenes from the movies to promote them.
Marvel tries too hard to synergize everything to the MCU and comics, and even DC has been getting sloppy with it.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I hate the DTV art style. It was fun with Young Justice but now everything looks like Young Justice and it's so boring.
I was happy about it initially since YJ was cancelled. But now that it's back, I'm a little tired of that art style myself.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Also, I don't know why, but it just looks nicer on the show. Maybe it's because of the collaboration with Weisman and Vietti that makes it have a different flavor despite the same artist.
Except Vandal Savage. He looks kinda terrible in the new trailer.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Gotta say, with all of the recent art styles that DC has been using, it was downright refreshing to see the Timm crew use their particular style again. I feel like that's just the perfect look for a cartoon. Though maybe that's just my bias since I grew up with that set of shows.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit. The Vietti/Bourassa style is functional at least. I agree the Timm style would be best.
TNAB art style is nice and fluid but I've always preferred the original art-style. It's a shame it'll likely never be used again; it's more trouble than it's worth.
I wouldn't mind a Teen Titans-style DTV movie, though.
If this is a new season, THEN MY BODY IS READY AS FUCK.
