Whoa, I read that article just a few minutes ago. Crazy, no?
But yeah, good on Disney for deciding to do something with their more recent movies that aren't Frozen.
Possibly odd timing on that I might say. Yeah. I'm thankful that this is getting an animated series. I know I would have liked a Wreck it Ralph or a Big Hero 6 cartoon, but this I can handle.
Well, this is a surprise. I never thought the setting had that much fodder for world building, but we'll see. The promo image looks fine, at least.
Also, she has the long blond hair back! My mother should be happy.
Well this is a pleasant surprise! I really liked Tangled (even more-so than Frozen, I'll admit), so I'm looking forward to this!
"I shall not be foolish again, my dear Gwendolyn!"Huh. The way they described it, that sounds like it's actually worth watching.
Disney's been doing pretty good in the animated series department lately. Guess I', just going to have to watch this when it comes out.
Big Hero 6 is certainly right next to Tangled when it comes to the question which movies would work as series.
It's set after the movie, but ignores the movie? Lovely.
Yeah, I don't get how she could have long blonde hair again.

i'm sure it'll be explained in the show.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.It bears mentioning that, when Gothel cut part of Baby Rapunzel's hair off, it didn't ruin the rest of her hair, or made it any less magical. The rules on that power seem to be quite arbitrary, since even destroying the flower didn't actually destroy the power... if the power can eventually resurface into the daughter of the person who was fed the flower, is it that much of a stretch to assume the hair can grow back (as, you know, it happens to everyone) and the power can return with it?
I mean, it's power from the freaking sun itself. I imagine it's not that easy to keep it down for long. I assume it'd take at least shaving Rapunzel completely bald.
Since they take place in the same universe, maybe the power of the sun has something to do with the power Elsa gained from, apparently, some sort of celestial conjunction?
I'd prefer a Big Hero 6 series but this could be interesting. I wonder if they'd cross over with any of the other Disney movies.
Or maybe Rapunzel just wears an elaborate wig to feel like herself again
"Set around the world, a swashbuckling hero engaged to a warrior princess having adventures together..."
Now, I'd totally watch THIS. Either that, or a Big Hero 6 animated series. Preferrably BOTH need to be made - as in not just this (here's hoping it turns out better than the movie, however -the potential for something bigger seems like it's here than just what the original movie had given us, TBH.). Anything to hopefully continue a positive streak for Disney and their TV animation department.
New Web Browser, same old Shokew.Yeah seriously, Frozen kinda needs to go away for a while. Poor Tangled and Princess and the Frog get obscured by it.
"No will to break."I have to say, this was unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. When was the last show made from a Disney movie? note
It's been 3000 years…the most recent one i can think of is The Legend of Tarzan (2001-2003). Sofia the First features guest appearances from the Disney Princesses, and House of Mouse had a ton of Disney's animated movie stars showing up, but i don't know if you can count those two.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Isn't the most recent one Lilo & Stitch: The Series?
EDIT: Shoot! Just now I remembered TRON: Uprising. So there's that.

House of Mouse was before Lilo and Stitch either way.
Don't forget Disney Jr. has Jake and the Neverland Pirates plus the incredibly crappy-looking Lion Guard coming out soon.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.@Targetmaster, spash: dang, i forgot about those. i don't know why; Tron: Uprising was pretty memorable.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Plus there's a bunch of Tinkerbell spin-off movies, the Once Upon a Time live action show... Yeah, Disney doesn't shy away from this stuff.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. What is The 7D even?

This makes my day. Thank goodness that Disney decided to go with this instead of Frozen.
