The thug is jabbed and promptly stunned.

Majima points his bat at the not-Sonic. "Hey, I think I see him... wait, somethin's off."

"AaaaaaaaaaaaTATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATA OWATTA!!!" Kenshiro unleashes a volley of punches on the hapless stunned thug, finishing with a harsh finger poke to the forehead.

Hokuto Hundred Fist Rush!

Then he turns his back on the thug. "You're already dead."

The thug's body will convulse before losing all muscle control and falling to the ground in a seizure-like state. This causes even Kenshiro to look back in shock and confusion, like that isn't what's supposed to happen.

NLA Outskirts

"Sonic" jumps down, and someone with a good eye would realize another thing wrong right away; this Sonic jumps down normally, not curling into a ball.

He lands with a slight crouch, smirking.

   "Sonic": "Ah, you found me! How's it going, you two?"   

His voice sounds slightly... distorted.

Segata: "Hello, Sonic. Say, have you come down with something? You sound off."

NLA Alleyway

"Holy crap... Wait, something's wrong, isn't it?"

The thugs are still very impressed by the feat, however, slowly walking backwards.

Majima narrows his eyes.

You know, I always wanted to see how a curled-up hedgehog fares as a baseball...

"Yo!"

Kenshiro growls. Then he does the infamous power-up, inhaling with a screeching noise as white lightning outlines his body and his upper body clothing tears apart, fully exposing the scars on his chest.

Hokuto Dragon's Breathing!

In Dragon's Breathing state, otherwise known as Burst Mode, Kenshiro unleashes 100% of his body's physical strength, from a world where most beings can only draw out 30% of their power. Any fatal blow dealt in Burst Mode will make the victim explode in traditional Fist of the North Star style, but the enemy has to be weakened enough that the strike could kill them ordinarily first. The exploding is more or less just a Rule of Cool effect, but Kenshiro is much stronger regardless.

He attempts to strike one of the other thugs in each cheek, just above the lower jaw.

Hokuto Stinging Void of Sobriety!

If this technique succeeds, the thug's entire body will become like a mass of bare nerves. The slightest touch to anything will cause him immense pain, even if it doesn't actually damage him.

She listens to him a little and nods slowly.

This is rather inconvenient for me but I can fight without my wyvern. After all, I already have an axe and spells. declares the Nohrian. I'll get someone to look for it for me. After all, she could go on a rampage if left on her own and we wouldn't want that. she finishes, with a content smile.

Xander, Arthur and Lucina look up at them, obviously not hearing them but figuring out that they're close to their goal.

NLA Outskirts

   "Sonic": "Yo! And I guess you're right, Mr. Sanshiro. I am a little sick..."   

"Sonic" disappears...

And X appears behind the duo.

X    "Of this world!"   

He rushes in and attempts to kick Majima back.

Segata: "You're not Sonic! Not at all!"

Three Mini-Segatas spawn.

NLA Alleyway

The thug is hit, and the effect takes hold.

Bandit 3: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! OH GOD! AAAAAAGH!"

He convulses on the floor, simply causing himself more pain.

Cheelai: "Two down!"

She aims her pistol at the fifth bandit, but shoots him in the knee instead of anything vital. Only the head bandit and a fourth bandit remain, and they're both backpedaling much faster than before.

"GLAUCK"

Majima tumbles to the ground, spitting up blood. He reaches out to one of the Mini-Segatas, silently asking for a hand to pull him back onto his feet.

Kenshiro simply watches.

"... Do you smell something burning?"

He turns in the direction of the truck Majima had exploded earlier.

NLA Outskirts

A Mini-Segata picks Majima up as requested, as the other two rush X, but are swiftly knocked back.

X then moves to Segata, trying to slash him with a claw; Segata just barely dodges, getting nicked.

Segata: "!!!"

NLA Alleyway

Cheelai and the two remaining bandits all turn to look, where they see a little smoke from the truck.

Bandit 1: "Truce?"

Bandit 4: "Yeah, I don't think this was a good idea. Let's let bygones be bygones and check that out."

Bandit 5: "What about me?"

Cheelai: "Stay here, we'll be back for you. The other two..."

Cheelai puts the third bandit out of his misery with a well-placed shot to the heart, and another to the brain.

Cheelai: "Not so much."

Majima tosses his weapons to the ground and attempts to repeatedly strike X with a breakdance spin-kick.

Kenshiro looks down at Bandit #2, the one who got downed by his Hokuto Hyakuretsuken.

"Cease to be." He straddles the hapless bandit before delivering a punch directly to the forehead.

Hokuto Eight Pains Nine Hells!

With the injuries already sustained earlier in the fight on top of Kenshiro still being in Burst Mode, this is likely a fatal blow. In such case, the bandit will suffer eight different kinds of pain before his body dismembers into nine separate pieces, killing him instantly.

NLA Outskirts

X is hit and skids back, and Segata rushes up and manages to get off a Judo Throw on X. He lands, exploding, and comes out of the explosion almost completely unfazed, instead being fully in his X appearance, complete with the brown tattered cloak and bloodied handwraps he gained after defecting from the Travelers.

The three Mini-Segatas all go for a kick to the chest, which also lands, but does nothing. They get knocked back by a flex of power, X smirking.

NLA Alleyway

Bandit 5: "That guy was an asshole anyway."

Bandit 1: "Ouch... Well, let's go check it out."

Cheelai: "We should stay alert. We don't know what could be happening out there..."

Bandits 1 and 4 start walking out of the alleyway apprehensively, Bandit 5 spouting words of encouragement.

Majima continues to attack with breakdance techniques - mostly kicks, but the unorthodox style behind them may make it a sort of Confusion Fu to X.

Kenshiro's Burst Mode ends as his clothes spontaneously regenerate onto his body.

He runs ahead of the thugs.

NLA Outskirts

X is distracted by the sudden appearance of Kenshiro, Cheelai, and the thugs, and gets caught off guard by Majima's attack. This allows the Mini-Segatas to hit three coordinated punches on different parts of his body, knocking him back.

X:    "RRGH! Dammit!"   

Cheelai: "It's the defector!"

She fires a shot, which X promptly dodges.

Majima gives a toothy grin. "Well, well, well, the cavalry's arrived!"

"That creature's anatomy... I will be unable to locate its pressure points." Kenshiro goes in with a brief forward-advancing combo of punches and kicks anyway.

NLA Outskirts

Cheelai and the thugs lay some suppressive fire, Bandit 1 actually clicking a switch on his ray gun to apply rapid-fire.

X blocks most of Kenshiro's attacks, but a couple good hits still land. The Mini-Segatas combine into a single Segata Replica, which attempts to Judo throw X, although he throw escapes.

The real Segata attempts a jumping kick, but X dodges unintentionally, sliding under it and attempting to hit Kenshiro with two slashes across the chest.

Majima throws a fucking grenade at X.

Kenshiro is cut and made to bleed. He is caught off-guard by the attack and staggers back, but he uses this chance, these injuries, to study X in some way...

Naesala glances at the wyvern.

"... I'd volunteer to watch her, but I'm afraid I'd end up as fried turkey before you're back.", he says, smiling nervously. He then starts descending, landing in front of the stronghold.

NLA Outskirts

The grenade explodes in X's face, detonated before he can react by a well-placed shot from Cheelai.

He is not amused, soot covering the front of his body rather comically. He shakes it off and moves towards Majima, only for Segata to grab him and Judo throw him away, once again with an explosive impact.

After the explosion, X is standing, almost growling, as he rushes to attack Majima with a jumping kick.

The bandits continue to lay suppressive fire, but it doesn't do much.

Majima goes tumbling into the side of a building.

Kenshiro does a series of quick two-finger jabs at X, aiming all over the monster-hedgehog's body.

NLA Outskirts

Omega... didnt really much, but not for lack of trying. His Stand seemed locked in to the song at the moment.

"Come on, come on...! DO SOMETHING!"

His stand responded by boosting the bass on the song currently playing.

Amplification! Buff/debuff strength has been increased by 25%!

NLA Outskirts

X smirks and gets cocky, allowing for Kenshiro's rush of attacks to hit him, and he staggers backwards. This allows for Segata-Replica to come in with his own flurry of punches, knocking X back and allowing a few piercing shots from Cheelai, doing considerable damage.

X:    "You'll pay for that... WITH YOUR LIFE!"   

He rushes in and shoulder charges Cheelai, who gets knocked back into a building. He then turns to Kenshiro, going in for a flurry of kicks.

NLA Outskirts

Rey panics at Targa's burst of speed, but gets ready with an upswing as the others execute their own retaliatory attacks.

Targa is unprepared for the results of Omega's buff. He goes flying into the air from Miles' uppercut, recovering while airborne and attempting to divekick into Miles, before Dylan's fist collides with his foot. While this pseudo-Punch Parry prevents Dylan from getting off the rest of his attack, Targa loses his seemingly-impeccable aerial balance due to Rbade's buster shots, dropping to the ground and allowing Rey to land the finishing blow with a fierce golf-club-like driver swing, sending him tumbling away.

Targa lies on the ground limply, unmoving, as his aura fades. Then he suddenly vanishes.

"... I guess we beat him." Rey's arms suddenly droop with weight and fatigue as his hammer and shield revert to their original forms as VR controllers.

Rhea comes back in from wherever she was, clapping proudly. "I knew you guys could do it without my help! Anyway, I've picked up on some strange energy off in the distance. I'll go investigate it while you guys recuperate." She teleports out.

Nobody gets to put anything at the place where Rhea's headed except for me.

NLA Outskirts, Elsewhere

"Green chick!" Majima runs to help Cheelai.

Kenshiro lets X hammer away at him.

Space Fortress Gravitas

Targa appears in Narktus' throne room.

"... Ya fucked up, Targa."

"I know, Sir. I seek an audience with X."

"Well, he's busy taking care of a certain problem from your own world. I'm not going to recall him unless things go south."

"Very well. I guess I can just hang out here until he gets back."

Camilla land near the others and climb down from her wyverns, before pointing at Arthur.

Be a dear and watch her over. If you fail by the time we get back, well, you'll regret her.

Arthur, watch over the wyvern but come along if the fighting gets too intense. If it run off, I'll protect you from my sister's retribution.

Arthur warily raise his thumb, while Camilla glance at the raven king. She has a large axe, but he may catch sight of a magic book as well.

Now, now. It does not breath fire... it does, however, shred and devour. she says, with a fond smile. Xander shakes his head in disapproval as he dismount and notices that Lucina is a bit silent, moreso than usual.

NLA Outskirts: Self-Insert Gang

Dylan powers down, falling on his ass. He winces in mild pain.

Dylan: "Huzzah! A decisive victory!"

He scratches the back of his head.

NLA Outskirts: X Strikes!

Cheelai: "I'm... I'm okay."

Cheelai is helped by Majima before placing a shot in X's shoulder, knocking him out of the flurry of attacks. However, he doesn't let up, attempting a flurry of punches on Kenshiro, who he currently sees as the greatest threat.

The Segata Replica deforms, recovering Segata's strength and health slightly.

Naesala turns to look as Lucina enters.

"Good luck to you, princess."

He then turns to Camilla and Xander.

"Be prepared and go all out. The alchemist is shockingly agile. The fact that he scorched my tail with his explosives is a testament to that."

He moves a little out of the way to let the siblings through, though keeps his eyes on the wyvern. Just in case.

As a knight and crown prince of Nohr, I always intend to go all out. Whenever I truly battle, I give it my all. he answers. We shall emerge victorious.

Good luck, Arthur... hm, nevermind. she says, merely nodding in acknowledgement as they both enter the fort. Lucina is ahead of them a little, looking determined as she prepares to grab the handle of her blade, Falchion.

Arthur wipes his forehead and smiles a little.

I have yet to see Lady Camilla and Lord Xander battle, but Lady Elise said that they are some of the finest warriors of Nohr ! Worry not, citiz-crow king, for they shall bring our just light to this fort ! he says, quickly looking at the king and the wyvern.
