Man, Yo-kai Watch 2 is harder than it looks. It's harder than Pokémon by far. You'd think it'd be easy because it's a "kiddie jrpg" but it's not. Getting medals relies on a lot of RNG and battling is difficult too because you're not in control of the yokai; it doesn't help that items have a limit.
Dame Dedtime is really hard. I couldn't ebat her with a team of level 40s and I've read some comments that people can't beat her with 50s either. The trick about using level 1-20 in the front doesn't work either because Dedtime attacks at random. I didn't bat her until my team was in the 50s.

Ignoring both that Yokai Watch Jam & Yokai Academy Y literally just started this month and the fact that the show is named "Yokai Watch Jam: Yokai Academy Y" with a colon in middle implying that this won't be the only series under the Jam banner, the name of the show is literally "Yokai Academy Y". What were you expecting it to do, lie about its setting?

Is Jam only the school AU? Sources online made it sound like Level-5 was going to experiment with different genres frequently. I guess Gakuen was successful enough and they're keeping to that.

I dislike Level-5's usage of Anime First. I liked the series better when it didn't correlate with the anime. I hate playing as Nate. I played as Katie for two games, with Nate as her school friend, but you auto play as Nate after Yo-kai Watch 3.

You play as both Nate and Hailey Anne. It's not that you can play as either one on their own, like with Katie and Nate. Nate is the yo-kai watch holder in canon, while Hailey Anne has a different watch (or something; I never payed attention to her much).
