Put quite simply: You shoot zombies while listening to gloriously awful voice acting. The typing game mystifies the rest of us as well.

It is. Most movie theaters and bowling allies I've been to always have at least one House of the Dead machine, and it's definitely a fun way to kill some time if you're waiting for someone or whatever.

Also Uwe Boll made a movie of it. Naturally, we don't speak of it.

Typing games can be pretty fun, I really liked Epistory. Don't really translate well to consoles though. As much as Pokémon tried.

Which North Americans never got. Least it got a kickass boss theme.

Also, that reminds me, Typing of the Dead's Steam port got a mod recently that replaces every typing phrase with Yahoo Answers phrases to mark the closing of that site. I imagine it's as silly as it sounds.

Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken, localized as The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, will be arriving on the Switch on July 27.

They localize this but not the sequel to Edgeworth's game? Meh, this is still hype though.

If Edgeworth's sequel game gets a port, the chances of a localization may be pretty good.

Hey, it might not be Investigations 2 but The Great Ace Attorney is definitely an accurate name for it.

...I'll be goddamned. Did anyone expect this?

Wonder if this will finally be the event that gets Ace Attorney spirits in Smash....outside of Phoenix Wright becoming playable.

x4, x5: Investigations 2 might have to be made from scratch since that used the DS' touch screen, right?

But hey, if compilations like The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles are fair game, then I fail to see why an Investigations collection is not feasible.

Yeah... This could either be a really good sign for Phoenix becoming a fighter, or a death sentence. Hoping it's the former.

This is great news. Switch is seriously battling the DS for my favorite game library ever.

Nintendo has announced a partnership with Fujifilm to have the Instax Mini Link be compatible with the Switch with an app; will be available on the same day as New Pokemon Snap.

I'm sold. I need this. And maybe New Pokemon Snap, too.

I'm not familiar with that feature, so it's all the same for me. What benefits does it bring to whoever acquires it?

It makes it possible to take pictures in-game and print them out like real photographs.

It's any Switch picture in your album and not just one specific game. And the device is already a thing and all previously owned ones will be compatible with the new app.

You guys have any recommendations for indie games on the Switch? I've been thinking that I should get more into indie games and I know the Switch has a lot. I already have:

• AVGN 1 and 2 Deluxe
• Shantae: Half-Genie Hero
• Shantae and the Seven Sirens
• Freedom Planet
• Fast RMX Racing
• Jackbox Party Pack 5
• Cuphead

I do intend on getting the Mighty Switch Force collection and the other three Shantae ports, and I've thought about getting Ori and the Blind Forest and Hollow Knight, but what other games are worth looking at? I also played Shovel Knight on Wii U. I should also note that I admittedly have no interest in Minecraft.

I been watching ProtonJon play Blaster Master Zero and it looks quite good. I might pick it up myself later.

If you're cool with roguelikes, I recommend giving 20XX a look. It's inspired by Mega Man X, has controls about just as solid, and puts up a good challenge. The art style is flash-esque, but otherwise it's a fun time :)
