KANE LIVES!
(Sorry, couldn't resist. And ironically, it does sum up the fighter reveal and the implications it has.)
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownRayman lives!
The original C&C did come out on the N64, so Kane is definitely eligible.
Ukrainian Red CrossA character acts out of character in Smash? Impossible!
Where there's life, there's hope.> The original C&C did come out on the N64, so Kane is definitely eligible.
One day we'll see some blizzard representation in smash bros, some zergling assist maybe
New theme music also a boxCrossposted from the Nintendo Switch thread, since I clicked there first.
I think I'm most interested in...
- Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics. That looks like fun, already added it to my Wishlist.
- That update for ACNH looks pretty neat.
- Same for the SwSh DLC, no need for me to be any more sold on that since I prepurchased it already.
- Xenoblade remaster looks good, I didn't think they'd remix the music since it's already incredible, but the new ones? They sound alright, I guess.
- Bravely 2 looks good, too.
- ARMS rep for Smash, eh? Alright, I'm down. My picks would be Ribbon Girl, Twintelle or Dr. Coyle.
I mean people sure are confident but what if we get Helix or Max Brass?
Anyway for a mini direct it sure is long and full of stuff.
I'm guessing the ARMS rep will be like Hero, and each skin will be a different character.
Ukrainian Red CrossHero only has four separate characters each with two skins, you're thinking closer to Bowser Jr., who is a different Koopaling for each skin.
But yeah, that makes a bit of sense. EDIT: As someone pointed out in the Smash thread, compared to the Heroes of Dragon Quest, each character in ARMS is different from the other by their unique moves, bonuses, and stats. It wouldn't make sense for the ARMS rep to have everyone in it.
Ribbon Girl makes the most sense if they don't remove or change the Springman Assist Trophy.
- She's the second face of the game.
- She's popular in-universe and out.
- Has a natural double jump.
- Is an idol, which would justify her wearing different colors based on other characters.
- Adds more female representation to Smash, which it sorely needs.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I've seen someone point out elsewhere that the main issue with that is that the characters in ARMS do vary wildly in size and stature from each other. Having Mechanica, Master Mummy, and Twintelle, for example, be palette swaps of Spring Man/Ribbon Girl would be kind of weird.
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."There's not much chance of them doing this (and within ARMS there's not really any justification for it), but I'd love to see a Pokemon Trainer esque transformation mechanic that would allow for multiple characters from the game to play as. Being able to switch from Twintelle to Helix to Min Min, etc would be pretty cool.
Xenoblade looks gorgeous. Still a definite purchase.
Pretty cool seeing the 2K stuff on Switch, although I won't be getting any of them as I have Bioshock and Borderlands on PC.
A bit undecided on Bravely Default II, I'll definitely play the demo and check out reviews before confirming.
I think its a good idea getting feedback though, because the UI looks worse than the 3DS games from what I could see.
I sort of want Catherine Full Body, but I've still yet to play the original I bought on PS 3, so I won't get it.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobI never played the original Bravely Default games. I kinda regret that, but I might check out the sequel simply because it's a full console game rather than a handheld as well as a turn based game I can play while eating breakfast, which I've wanted more of for years now.
Though right now, I don't have enough control of the TV to do that, lack the money and have other games I both need to finish and buy first. Hopefully, time will come up for me to do that.
One Strip! One Strip!I was looking forward to the original on the 3DS, but I heard bad things about it in another thread when I asked them for a recommendation, so I skipped it. I guess BD II won't be much different.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I'd be more into BD2 and Xenoblade if I wasn't on a super-casual gaming kick right now. It's pretty much the only reason I'm most excited for fricken Clubhouse Games.
