NOTE - Report bugs along with your browser/version, operating system/version, and device. There are thousands of these combinations, and most bugs right now only affect certain combinations.
Tropers - As you are probably well aware by now, we've made a ton of changes to TV Tropes. Although most of the changes you see are primarily cosmetic, we are also part way through a complete overhaul of the backend code. With so many changes under the hood, it is entirely possible we broke a few things. If you find something that does not appear to be working correctly, this is the place to report it.
Please note, this thread is for BUGS only! If you have an idea, wish, or anything to say that is not related to a bug, please do not post it here. Those things can all be posted and discussed on other threads in Wiki Talk or the Tech Wishlist.
The more information you can provide about the bug (e.g., browser, operating system, etc.) and how to re-create it, the more likely we will be able to squash it.
Happy Troping!
EDIT: Here are some things that have been reported:
- Login issues
- Logins not sticking between devices
- Some people are still having issues with dropped logins.
- You can't log in if your username contains a space. Remove the space.
- Javascript: Your device must be able to run Javascript from tvtropes.org, static.tvtropes.org, ajax.googleapis.com, and netdna.bootstrapcdn.com. If you are blocking any of these, lots of things won't work, like editing pages.

I can't stay logged in on more than one device.
It's kind annoying.
This shouldn't be happening. Make sure the little box to "Remember You" is checked when you log in.
It's always checked. Logging in on my smartphone logs me out on the PC and the laptop, for example.
I had the same issue until recently, but it hasn't been a problem for the last week or so. I've switched between my tablet, laptop, and work computer without having to log back in on any of them.
What browser and version are you using? I am pretty certain this problem is fixed on modern browsers.
Posting fixed.
What happened to this thread?
It's strange - the rest of the forums are working okay for me, except the Trope Repair Shop. Is it something I've done, somehow?
(Annoyed grunt)Why won't it let me add any new posts? The design suddenly changed and something's broke horribly and, what the hell is going on?
EDIT: Oh, posting seems to have been fixed now.

In addition to the not-posting problem, I've been experiencing issues with being unable to scroll using the keys on my keyboard, apparently at random.
and and Try it again—the entire forums system was just broken for about a half hour, displaying but impossible to post in. Seems to be back up now per drewski and (of course) the fact that people are posting.

Minor hiccup - everything should be working now. Keep us posted if not.
Nope, Complete Monster thread still not working (Post 759).

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsObviously I can post again, but still seeing the scrolling problem.
Fixing TRS and IP right now.
Seems like threads with clickable links to wiki pages at the top don't display properly (TRS and IP, plus threads like the Complete Monster thread linked above).
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI can't scroll.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseThe scrolling problem now seems to be occurring specifically with threads.

Bugs I encountered, sorted by platform:
IE 11, Firefox 35, Chrome 40 on PC (Windows 8.1 GDR 1)
- Double-scrollbar on the side.
IE 11 on Windows Phone (Windows Phone OS 8.1 GDR 1 Denim, Microsoft Lumia 830), and IE 11 on Windows Phone (Windows Phone OS 8.1 GDR 1 Developer Preview Beta Cyan, Nokia Lumia 920).
- When a page loads, I get a heavily zoomed-in version on load◊. I can zoom out to the full page, but it happens every time I load a page.
- The page renders slower than my phone can scroll. This is definitely not related to my internet speeds, because other sites load faster. Even when the page has fully loaded, the site still "renders" when I scroll. Sometimes, the site "loads", but fails to render at all unless I scroll a little bit.
Edit: Additionally, each character I type takes about 0.5-1 second to show up in the text entry box (applies to both phones).

Oh, whoa. I'm seeing a double scrollbar as well, in both the forums and the wiki proper. The rightmost scrollbar functions normally, the leftmost one (immediately next to the rightmost one) is fully expanded and doesn't scroll at all, it's just there. Windows 7 Enterprise SP 1, IE 9. (Work computer, don't tell me to update anything, I can't.)
Come to think of it, that's probably why some people are having issues scrolling.

I'm seeing a double scrollbar, too, on Ubuntu 14.04 Firefox 35.0.1.
Yep, double scrollbar on Firefox.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseMake that another person who is suddenly seeing double scroll bars (the inner one appears to now even work).
Also, the tweaking of the design is ruining the whole wiki for me: I have a lengthy handle, and relocating my icon and handle to the page itself, instead of the top banner, it's squishing page content into the middle, while leaving a large blank area on the right side of the page (I believe I've had this problem once before).
Just about everybody is still having that problem right now, on any page they try to edit.
Again, I've found a solution to work around the problem: right click and select open, and that won't redirect you to the homepage.
