Not sure how these examples fit the trope.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDo we need a thread? Just delete the examples in question.
Errr... yes? The folder's been there for as long as the page has had history, so it seemed a bit rash making a unilateral change.
Plus it leaves the question of what to do with the folder.

Hop on over to this page and add them.I don't know, it's not like you are massively reworking the definition of the trope or proposing changing the name or proposing a merge. There are only eight examples there and only four are from fictional works. If it had been me I'd have deleted that section and called it good.
But since we do have the thread, I vote to, yes, delete the folder.
Would they fit We Win Because You Didn't?
Check out my fanfiction! The "at least the other guy didn't win variation" is mentioned in the description, very briefly, at the end of the third bullet point... and is potholed to We Win, Because You Didn't there.
Clock is set.

My issue with this is there's a random folder entitled "Examples of the 'Hey, at least the other guy didn't win' variation."
This is just... odd. It's very irregular (especially for not being the last folder), and quite frankly it seems like another trope altogether. It's also not mentioned anywhere in the description that I could see.
So if it's another trope, it should get its own page. If it's the same trope, it should probably be folded into the appropriate folders and just say it's that variation (which should also be mentioned in the description).
