Oh, that's not a great sign.
So John Wick 3 is coming to HBO Go on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing this.

Watch SymphogearI have a feeling the Yakuza games would fit right in, especially the Amon clan.
It's been 3000 years…Worth pointing out the Continental Quarterly (JW EU such as it is) states there is a Continental in Tokyo.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."At least John wouldn't kill Kazuma, especially because of the latter's tendency to not kill.
They'd totally be allies.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Its all Rubber bullets, knives, bats, staplers, chairs.....
Kiryu never killed anyone, honest.
Watch SymphogearIt’s not his fault that the butler he was using as a human shield died. It was all on that gangster who shot him.
It's been 3000 years…Plus the HEAT action where he shoves the guy's head into a microwave? Kiryu doesn't turn it on, the shopkeep does. So if the guy dies from his head being microwaved, that's not on Kiryu, it's on the shopkeep.
... god I love Yakuza.

Yakuza 7 is going to be an absolute trip. The RPG set-up is going to make those extra actions carry more weight.
- John has to stay outside
- Limited ammo (pretty sure he already had that)
- Purgers know who he is and are actively gunning for him for bragging rights
3:18 - "isn't this basically an easier version of the situation in Parabellum?"
4:40 - "the Purgers make up for in numbers and weapons what they lack in skill"
10:05 - "can he do it? Yeah, probably.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Yeah, this just seems like John Wick 3 but with added chaos which would only help him since it seemed like literally anyone who gives a shit about the prestige of killing John Wick would already be doing so.
There's just a bunch of scrubs that can act as cannon fodder or provide John with bullets. Not like "laws" impeded literally anyone in any of the Wick movies.

It's been 3000 years…If he can blam his way through professional killers with relative ease then shmoes with guns and high hopes aren't realistically going to give John much hassle, unless he gets absolutely mobbed and even then I can see him getting out of it mostly unscathed.

"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."I just don't see him getting any more mobbed than he was in Parabellum. Everyone who knew who he was and wanted him dead already was after him. The only new variable is "are random people and chaos from The Purge going to help or hinder him" and I say help.

No way is he gonna have trouble with what is basically some regular people playing at being psycho murderers.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Imagine him just going to "visit" the NFF after the first one.
Wake me up at your own risk. One thing also worth noting is that Conservation of Ninjutsu would be in effect in this context. It is possible in a gunfight for a sufficiently trained person to hold off an army. Admittedly, him having to go outside might be a bit of an issue (the ideal strategy would be for him to hole up in his house and shoot people who approach it), but even without that it would be doable.
Indeed, the real question is if The Purge could survive John Wick.
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"He doesn't really feel the need to right wrongs unless he's personally affected by them, ie only going on a rampage against the Russian mob after the boss's idiot son killed his dog for no reason. As such, I don't see him trying to end the Purge.
It's been 3000 years…If they send those hit squads after him, he might take it personally.
I agree with you on that one.
