Name: Benjamin "Benjy" Milikan

Birthday: 12th of Umbra

Race: Human, but he's below average height. Don't tease him about being under five feet tall. Appearance: Glasses that are usually slightly smudged, brown hair, brown eyes, short, slender, usually carrying a book. Likes to wear comfy clothes.

Weapons: A small globe. Press the button, and it analyzes the situation and gives you advice. As for actual weapons....Benjy isn't very competent. However, just in case, he packed a giant mallet in his backpack. (Yeah, don't ask how it fits.) It can turn into different substances, such as wood, rubber, metal, plastic, and spaghetti sauce. The rubber mallet, named Excelsior, was purchased at a joke shop. He's been practicing with it for fun and is actually not that bad with it. He wants to be a librarian someday and has heard that RWBY has a great spot for books and researching. He also wants to find out how the mallet works and if it can be improved.

Personality: Shy, quiet.Doesn't talk a lot unless you get him started on something he really likes. VERY nervous at parties. Wants to make friends, doesn't know how to make friends. Loves to read. Weird sense of humor. Wants to improve himself and his social skills. That is a main reason for wanting to join. Being a better person.

Biography: Benjy has had some traumatizing incidents in his past, but that shouldn't be an issue, unless squids and spiders somehow factor into the classes. He and his parents agree that he wants to go to RWBY to be a better person by improving multiple facets of his personality.

The academy is called Beacon.

Also, a guy with a mallet would die two minutes into Initiation. And no Semblance? Basically, you're Kurira chow.

Yeeeeeeaaaaah, getting the Hammerman in the mix! Gonna stir up shit as always, I presume. Assuming I can still get him in. I just really enjoyed writing him in Beacon-2, and I feel like I can get a lot of mileage from his interactions with fellow students. I changed his emblance and gave a slightly more detailed explaination of his outfit and such. Otherwise, it's the same old Ghatz.

Name: Ghatz Mienne

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Birthday: 18th of Umbra

Race: Human

Appearance: 5' 11" and has a heavyset build. He has medium length, messy brown hair and blue eyes. Often wears a dark red wool cap and glasses, and a messenger bag containing some of his analytical supplies. Otherwise, his regular outfit is a pair of cargo shorts, a black t-shirt, and some rough leather gloves, boots, and a dark red scarf.

Weapons and Equipment: A large (understatement), silver, and simple-looking hammer called "Eintreffen", with a magically extending handle allowing for long reach and more extreme windup for powerful hits. He swings it around with relative expertise and ease.

Semblance: Shortcut- Allows Ghatz to pass through a hole in space that that leads directly to another location. The hole is anywhere between 2 inches to 2 yards, but no more or less. He can only use it to travel to a location less then a mile away. Approaching a mile, it takes a lot of energy and strain to do so, which could possibly result in unconsciousness or death. But in a fight, it acts as a handy form of teleportation.

Personality: Eccentric and foul-mouthed, to say the least. He's regularly loud and animated, and usually talks without putting any thought into his words. Very intelligent, but regularly comes across as an idiot with his obnoxious ways. Gung-ho and quick to react, he's impulsive and idealogical to absurd extremes.

Bio: Not much to say, really. He's always been rather impulsive, and at once decided on whim to join Beacon, purely for the experience of it. His town, Cascata, was a small coastal community in Vale, known for it's many scholars and educated men. He was raised relatively simply and didn't get into trouble often, much less into fighting. Didn't have much of a social life, either. He was always figured for one of the people who would never really amount to anything, which left him ostracized. The decision to hunt Grimms was a jarring act that drove his parents crazy with worry. But, regardless of the opinions of his family and town, he set out to become a great Hunter and prove he could do it... ALONE. However, going forward, he'd probably be better off making friends for the first time in his life, then trying to go it alone. Which is easier said then done.

The year so far: Yeah, Ghatz has not gotten any closer to his goal. At this point in his year, he's struggling. His rivalry with his supposed mentor, Alfred, has pushed him to his limit, though. He is now completely dedicated to training himself, and has become quieter and more thoughtful as time went on. He also is terrible at fighting, still, and is therefore not at all confident in his fighting ability. Again, this is why he trains.

He also has been actively searching for friemds, of which, he remains at zero total. Will he attain his dream of success at Beacon? Or will Alfred finally push him to far? Only time will tell. AND SO, THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES

•Weapons and Equipment:

• Cupcake is a shield formed when the tops of two rifles come together
  • Chocolate Chip is a silver rifle with dark brown accents, which fires kinetic Dust rounds with no elemental augments.
  • Blueberry is a golden rifle with blue accents. It shoot a beam that is triggered by combining various Dust crystals within the barrel for multiple effects.
    • Violet: Lightning Dust
    • Blue: Ice Dust
    • Red: Fire Dust

•Semblance: Hawkeye is Dolores's Semblance. With this, she can scan the Aura and Biology of an opponent, and be able to know where she can hit them for the maximum amount of damage. This does not effect her own reaction time or reflexes. She must still manually aim and hit said target.

•Personality: Ironically enough for the girl whose name means "Sorrow", Dolores is kind, sweet, and mellow, especially towards those she cares about. Usually, she is very clumsy, to the point her friends jokingly and affectionately call her "The Human Disaster". She can be a bit ditzy as well, often having her head in the clouds. In the battlefield, she seems to change, as she has natural and honed instincts for battle. In combat, she is efficient, calculating. She admires the grand legacy of Hunters, and has made it her life's goal to be the best Huntress she can be, a goal she pursues with all her heart. As a side note, she loves muffins. Perhaps TOO much.

•Bio: Her parents were distinguished hunters, but after an incident that had her eyes face different directions, they sheltered her, as they didn't want their little girl getting hurt. After helping a childhood friend evade a Grim long enough for the Hunters to destroy it, she decides she want to become a hunter to help protect the innocent. She taught herself with twin rifles Chocolate Chip and Blueberry, and enrolled herself into Signal in secret to learn more about being a hunter. When her parents found out, she told her how much this meant to her, they begrudgingly agreed. Her natural affinity in hunting and high scores in class allowed her to be enrolled at 16, as her birthday was 2 weeks into the period.

• Name: Noiri Sloan
• Gender: Female
• Age: 19
• Race: Human
• Appearance: The Black Thief of Sloan.
• Weapons and Equipment:
  • Plunder and Pilfer: A pair of fold-able short swords with black hilts. The butt of the hilts also contain a short-ranged laser cutter. When the hilts are pressed against each other, the swords automatically join together to form a sniper rifle with a scope that has a variety of capabilities, such as magnification and infrared. In addition, the sniper rifle also has the ability to fire an EMP to short out electronic devices in a set radius.
  • Dust Daggers: Throwing knives containing Dust that have three sets of abilities when thrown. The first allows Noiri to switch places with the knife thrown as soon as it hits something. The second freezes whatever it hits in place until something else acts upon it. The third creates explosions after a set amount of time, but it takes a while to set up the timer.
• Semblance — Cloak: Causes Noiri's Aura to go into overdrive, vibrating so fast that visible light passes right through her, shielding her from all visibility from the naked eye. However, more advanced forms of detection such as infrared can detect her just fine.
• Personality: Growing up and surviving by taking things that weren't hers, Noiri has a tendency to "borrow" things that often don't belong to her. However, she will most of the time return the item unless she really doesn't like the person she took it from. Despite her kleptomaniac traits, she still has a virtuous heart, and will help anyone who needs helping, unless she really doesn't like that person.
• Bio: Born in Vale to two parents who died from a Grimm attack early in her life, Noiri was forced to fend for herself for most of her life. Taking to a life of thievery, she overcame many challenges, many times barely escaping with her life. One day, she met three boys who were sent by their treacherous mother to steal from a Hunter. She decided to help them with their quest, but they were ultimately caught by the Hunter. As the Hunter prepared to punish them, Noiri recounted three tales in which she barely escaped with her life, and the Hunter was so impressed that not only did he let them go, but also sent a recommendation to Beacon for Noiri.
• The Year So Far: As soon as the year started, Noiri formed a deep bond with her partner, Noa. After Initiation, Noiri went to the site of her team's battle with a nasty frog Grimm, and collected a tadpole sample. It currently waits in a jar in her room, waiting to be sold. She also developed disdain for what seems to be a great number of other thieves in the school, such as Alfred. God, she hates that guy.

• Appearance: Ismael is about 5’8. He has red eye that often get covered up by his brown hair. He has brown tail with white on the tip of it and a pair of brown wolf ear that are a little torn up .He where a necklace with two bear teeth and two claws. When not in school clothes, he prefer to wear jean and one of his favorite band shirts.
• Weapons and Equipment: Carries Dual Blades, named Jörmungandr and Fenrir. Jörmungandr is a longer and heavy of the two. It also double as a Rifle. In Rifle mode it fire .45 rounds. Fenrir is the short and lighter sword, It has a shotgun mode. In shotgun mode it fire a 10 gauge slug. He carries around 4 little container of red and blue dust. That he can use with his sword and there gun modes.
• Semblance: Berserk Wolf, this allow him to going into a trace like state that allow him to fully use his wolf traits, but make him a mindless beast.
• Personality: Is loyal to his friends. He often reckless, to the point of getting himself killed. He has a honor code of a knight.
• Bio: Ishmael was expect to die shortly after birth, but he made it thought that harsh winter. At the age 6, he was taken on his first hunt. During the hunt ran into a bear and almost died. At the age of 10, he found the same bear and fought it. Two years later Ishmael got lost in a storm and wonder down the mountain, Where he met a old Hunter that took him in. The hunter taught him the way of being a knight. As the last wish of the hunter, Ishmael is trying to become a hunter.

@Underwood: History is minimally acceptable. A word of warning: be careful balancing out this character's ditziness and her more serious traits, or she'll be all over the place characterization-wise. Also, September is Tempestas in this version of Remnant.

The only aspect that keeps this from being acceptable is the Semblance. There's little analysis as to its full capabilities, and the one-hit kill function is just not going to do here.

Also, a question: Does Blueberry fire beams due to Dust power?

EDIT: Semblence does One-hit destruction only on objects. It takes a couple hits to down a creature...

Simply have it so she can spot weak points, not nessecarily for a one hit kill, but like a person's pressure points or something.
