Oh the goat Faunus, you know there are never two of the same Faunus is the trait different in family lines?

It should be genetic. Nothing in lore says otherwise.

Though that is interesting, and the way you said it implies it's canon. Where is it? There's a lot that can be sorta inferred or figured out by the bits Monty gives, I'm surprised I missed something.

What I mean is Faunus can breed with humans, so if they do what do hybrids look like or even if you can tell. Also do different tells run in the family. I mean if a monkey and a cat faunus had a kid what animal would it be? Or would it be a different animal because of latent genes from both parents.

I can barely understand these posts.

When I still played Leah in B2 you can find a writeup I figured out from existing characters in the RP, where half-faunus genetics are tied to the X and Y chromosome, check thru my posts in the first few pages of the B2 discussion.

@blood: One of the co-GMs, Romanian Inquisitor, has a character in the game who's the daughter of a Faunus and a human. He just went with "The children of a Faunus and a Human can be either one," I think.

I edited above, but genetically what defines a Faunus hybrid or if they don't have an outward tell, are they considered Faunus. Edit: oh okay.

• Gender: Female
• Age: 17
• Birthday: Aurum 1.
• Race: Fox Faunus.
• Appearance: Cassie stands at 5ft 7inches, with her build being that of a gymnast. She has very long golden hair, which falls to about her thighs. Because she's a Fox Faunus, she has golden fox ears and a golden bushy tail with white on the tip of her tail. Other unique things about her are her bright red eyes.
• Weapons and Equipment: Cassie always carries a bag of candy on her, which are mostly specialized. For her weapon, she carries two twin swords which are named Sonic Howl and Night’s Bite. They also double as dual 9mm pistols. When in sword mode, she can use a 9mm round to add a little more speed and power to her swings.
• Semblance: Cassie has the semblance of Illusions. These can be easily dispelled and exist for a short time. The longest she can keep it up for is five minutes, but this was not during combat. During combat, they tend to last about a minute or even shorter. She tends to base her illusions on things, places, or people she knows.
• Personality: Cassie a strong-willed faunas. She felt trapped by upper society, so in an act of rebellion, she joined signal because of this fear of being dragged back to her family's house. Cassie often hates overdone girly things, like dresses. She will often try and get away with boy pants, but if forced to wear those she won't complain too much. Cassie loves her friends, and she will risk life and limb for them. Thanks to her brother Hal being her hero, she is not afraid to speak her mind on matters even if it get her in trouble. Cassie also loves food, but loves her sweets more, and if she loses her bag of sweet, that'll cause her to go into a huge panic. If Cassie willingly gives over a piece of candy to someone, she thinks of them a close friend.
• Bio Cassie grew up in a high middle class to lower upper class household. She is the youngest of three kids. From early age, Cassie followed her older brother Hal everywhere. She saw him as a hero, and when he enrolled to become a hunter she decided to to do the same thing. While at signal, Cassie often had trouble with other girls in school. She often would choose to take part in boy activities till she found the gymnastics class. While there, she crafted her fighting style.
