- They're Speaking Simlish rather than having any actual voiced dialogue.
- I don't think whoever it is who provided the soundbites for their voices resembles them all that strongly.

Okay, actually having rewatched some of the behind-the-scenes stuff, there are a few similarities in appearance to their voice actors, but it's mostly limited to them sharing similar hairstyles, and even then it's not that close of a resemblance.

I know Nintendo went out of their way to make some of these characters adults almost certainly because of situations like this, but Splatoon sexy fan art makes me uncomfortable. They're all bobbleheaded weirdos with glowing tentacles for hair.
