Oh, probably. It can't be a coincidence that The one who doesn't actually want the reward ended up as Haru's roommate. Tokaku acting as Haru's ally was almost certainly anticipated.
Interestingly, the one who's truly in danger now is Tokaku, not Haru. See, Tokaku's little announcement at the end was actually a huge mistake on her part. Now the others see her as an enemy, and while Haru has everyone who hasn't handed in their slip as a temporary ally, Tokaku has only Haru- everyone else should want Tokaku out of the way to make their own attempts easier. Furthermore, she can't even truly help on Haru's help- if I were her, I wouldn't take Tokaku at her word- so Tokaku also has to worry about Haru shanking her in her sleep.
What she should have done was accept the slip and left without comment, and then destroyed it while alone with Haru. That way, Haru has proof Tokaku can be trusted, but it'd probably take the others a little while to figure out that she's playing a different game.

Well adding the fact that Tokaku never killed anyone while Haru seems to handle assassins on regular basis, one can wonder which one is the innocent.
Anyway loved the episode will definetly come back for more.
As for why Haru trusts Tokaku, maybe it's because she saved her? I mean, she could have done it for her own personal reasons, but I think most people would be able to tell that Tokaku doesn't really have much ambition of her own. Although admitting to the other assassins that she's defected was definitely a pretty dumbass move on her part.
EDIT: Maybe there's an unspoken rule about not offing your fellow assassins? After all, the only one who's supposed to die here is Haru, so having the assassins turn on each other or having Haru kill them before they can carry out their assassination attempt would defeat the purpose of the game.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialNot so much. Does-it-at-night seems pretty eager to involve her fellow assassins and manga! Tokaku said killing members of the black group isn't a problem.
I also think Indoor-sunglasses-sensei wants Haru alive.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I can't be the only one who finds these Slasher Smile's adorable and Moe, can I?

Maybe not moe, but attractive, yes
Maybe not either of those things but Crazy Awesome .
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I'm personally most interested in Kirigaya totally not because she share's Kirito's surname since she doesn't do those sorts of things, and looks even more harmless than Ichinose does, but at the same time she is an assassin so it makes you wonder more about just what is up with her.
Also how in the hell does the manga have so little content after running for 2 years?
MMORPGs are serious business.Been running for a year and a half, not 2 years. Monthly. With short chapters
The manga author is notorious for her hiatuses and weird work habits. She has, like, a dozen mangas that have been on-going since the freaking nineties. I have absolutely no clue how the heck they're going to finish this anime with the manga so inconsistent in updates.
Two Words: Gecko Ending.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them. The thing about the manga is how freaking unbloody it is... Not one character has died so far!
And the thing about Haru is, it is implied that she can induce the Dulcinea Effect on people to protect herself.
I think also it is quite interesting, how she wants to be friend to everyone despite her knowing that everyone wants to kill her.
More crazy girls. That's always fun to watch. I'm probably just stupid, but why is Tokaku attached to Haru?
It's implied that something bad happens to students who are "expelled"
She feels bad for her and knows she doesn't deserve the crap she gets? And hates their classmates because they are psychotic psychos?
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Found out how to make a page and made one. Contributions would be welcomed. Also, please forgive any errors; I was in a bit of a rush.
Oh good, I was worried I'd have to start a page
Episode 2:
- Hmm... What does Haru have that made a lot of people die for her sake? And even if she's Covered with Scars, she's a bundle of cuteness.
- Now Tokaku and Haru can be cursed together.
- Hmmm... The protector and the protected. Peoplenote gunning for the protected. And it's a one-time deal... The most recent show I can think off with these elements is Dansai Bunri No Crime Edge.
- So...who will assassinate first?

Just throwing a theory out there, but maybe Haru is an illegitimate child, hence why her family wants her dead.
Haru's family wanted her alive. They all died protecting her. Unless it's her really distant family that isn't her siblings, parents and grandparents. Although actually I don't know if they mentioned her father.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I find it interesting that Nio is the only who doesn't wear a black leather outfit in the intro. Even Haru and the loli wear one.
Is it wrong that I'm finding some of the 'antagonists' such as Nio and Haruki more interesting than Azuma and Haru?
It seems bringing up or threatening Haruki's family is her Berserk Button, as Nio found out this episode.
Is there any pattern whatsoever to the 'ranking' of the students, such as Hitsugi being number 4, Isuke being number 2, Nio being number 10 and so on?
It's gonna take a while to remember the new characters' names.
The 'frail' girl, no.12
The brunette megane, no.5
The purple-haired one, no.8
The pale-blue-haired one, no.7
The black-haired one, no.3
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade.I'm not sure why, but Semireko (#11) looks like Anemone to me...and she says she's frail, but I have the feeling she's final boss materialnote .
Haruki's red hair, eating pocky, and maybe family issues remind me of Kyoko.
And now, a creed I sorta came up with for fun!
Haru challenges her fate! You will not stop her! She'll say when it ends! And with Tokaku by her side, hope will never die!
Heh, Lucina.
There are the conflicting stories to take into consideration too. Nio claims that Haru killed her family while Haru says that her family died protecting her. I do wonder how relevant this will be later on.
Well, there's a trope for supporting characters becoming more popular than the mains. I won't be surprised if Nio or Banba or Haruki end up becoming this show's Ensemble Dark Horse. It probably really helps that Haruki looks like Kyoko's (an Ensemble Dark Horse from Puella Magi) long-lost twin.
As for the number significance, someone over at MAL pointed out that a pair of die can land on any number between 2 to 12. Azuma is number 1 and Haru is number 13. Make of that what you will.
And, as for the leather situation, I have a minor theory that Haru isn't the real target. Nio is.

Also about Nio: I noticed in the first episode that she's the only solo member. Everyone is paired up with a roommate except her.
So, no.12 apparently gives off Final Boss vibes, but Nio almost seems like the leader, since she's the one who organised the meeting etc.
With regards to the pair of dice and what you said about that theory (2-12). It could represent that Azuma (1) and Haru (13) are...anomalies, with the former being a defector from the mission and the latter being the target. Or it could mean that, like the literal pair of dice in the series, Attendants 2-12 are in the palm of someone's hand. Which could be either Asshole Sunglasses Guy or that mysterious woman in the black chair watching Haru and Azuma sleep.
Lol Azuma. Acts tough, but when it comes down to it, she can't even bring herself to kill someone. Judging by Nio and Isuke's reactions to her name in the first episode, Azuma seems to have some kind of notoriety.
That homeroom teacher. In the intro he appears along with Asshole Sunglasses, both of them with a pair of dice in their hands. Also in the intro is a scene of Asshole Sunglasses holding a crushed (presumably pair of) dice in his hands. Are those two scenes just randomly there, or is it one of those cases of Foreshadowing in the intro?
Any reason for Asshole Sunglasses have one white and one black dice?
Foreshadowing noticed. In episode 2 Azuma notes that Haru didn't really react to being headbutted by her. In episode 1 she didn't react to Haruki slamming the door in her face.
That does count as foreshadowing, right?

What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade.
Interesting, you have a point there. But in the end the only one truly on Haru's side is Tokaku. Also dice guy seems to want this to happen for some reason.
