I hope the sequel's just as good as this, because I love the concept of Groundhog Day as a horror movie.
It's been 3000 years…Groundhog Day kind of is a horror movie already if you think about it hard enough; it's just veiled in sufficient comedy to distract us.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Being trapped in a day that continually repeats itself is a special kind of hell,I've not seen film but I know the promise well enough

New theme music also a boxYou don't need to think that hard. There's an entire montage of the main character repeatedly comitting suicide.
The weird thing about happy death day is that alot of the killers actions don't really make sense if the killer doesn't know their victim is reliving the same day over and over. Like their uneering ability to always find the victim.

Is Honest Game Trailers still a thing or is it over?
It's in hiatus following Smosh's parent company having folded. They plan to continue.
This week: How to Train Your Dragon
There really isn't a lot to say here. They're really good movies, so how much piss can be taken out of them? Not much, apparently.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"You know, I can't overstate how surprised I was that the first one was actually really good. "The discount version of the 'I'm A Mac' guy is in a Dream Works movie about friendship with dragons. Wow. Sooooooooo exciting."
... then it was actually good. Weird.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. Why is that so surprising? Vikings and dragons make a great mix for a movie. It even has literary precedent in Beowulf.

A star is born
Apparently Smosh Games is under new ownership. Whether that means Honest Game Trailers will return is anyone’s guess though.
Not "apparently"; they are under new ownership. Rhett and Link's Mythical Entertainment company bought out Smosh and all its subnames, and Smosh announced it this past Friday. Hopefully they still come back with Honest Game Trailers, but who knows.

Wow, they did not like that film. I haven't seen it, and probably won't given its reception, but if half of what they are saying is true, whoo. Someone is getting a little too into themselves in the Harry Potter franchise.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Well, that happens if you decide to stretch out the story into 5 films and you do not have enough interesting characters to carry.
If they had instead opted for 3 films, they could have devoted more time to the Dumbledore-Grindelwald relationship (something I believe most people wanted to see), with Dumbledore slowly building up the courage to face the love of his life. Instead we have to follow some characters nobody cares about, and the story advances at Hobbit-pace.
The movies problems go so far beyond that.
It's a movie without a plot. It'a series of barely related events that happen. Characters have no consistent personality from the last movie either.
I said it was the Desolation of Smaug of the Harry Potter franchise. But I think it might be more accurate to say that it's the Attack of the Clones of the Harry Potter franchise.
Ceterum censeo Morbillivirum esse eradicandum.Desolation of Smaug was the best part of that trilogy while Attack of the Clones was most definitely the worst, so I'd say you're right on that.
It's been 3000 years…Forgot to post this from last week.
Funny thing about the joke about Ben Mendelsohn always playing bad guys since after this Honest trailer, Captain Marvel was released which Ben also started in where he's not the bad guy but a good guy!
Man that movie confuses me… It's a "modern take" except… not really…?
Aaand Aquaman!
…Glad I'm not the only one Jason Momoa made question their sexuality.
There's no shame of being attracted to that magnificent man hunk.
And whoa, with a scream like that, I'm surprised the mooks didn't immediately joined Aquaman's side after hearing how annoying their boss when he screams.
Looks like Tomorow's Honest Trailer is for all Tim Burton movies.
Huh. I thought they were doing the Bond movies.
