[1] Review by Ursa of Chez Apocolypse. Less a review and more of fan-girl gushing but relevant.
The Weather portion of the cast raises a lot of questions but more puzzling is the reason (reasons?) for people suddenly speaking in Russian...
ALIEN RAPTOR SAYS "RAWR!"Uh, the only person who suddenly starts speaking Russian is the Apache Tracker, along with other general weirdness of his apparent ethnicity apparently changing and yet he was still recognizable. We haven't gotten an explanation for that yet, and I don't think we will.
I keep meaning to look up the English translation of what he says, though.
I wonder if Night Vale was originally a Russian colony...
EDIT:Oh, I thought there was actually someone else who started speaking Russian.

"We're home, Chewie."Well, Russian is one of the language classes available in their school, and maybe also that kid that grew a second head speaks in Russian? I sort of got the impression that this sort of brain scewery happens semi-regularly.
I can't imagine the Apache Tracker's Race Lift took the form of anything more than a more appropriate skin and hair coloration.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.http://classysushi.tumblr.com/post/59074065892/apache-tracker-russian-translations

To quote the great American philosopher, Sweet Brown, "Ain't nobody got time fo' dat."@Baby Well that was foreboding yet thematically appropriate, nice of him to offer the car
Episode 32 is titled 'Yellow Helicopters'
Sooooo that.
And there's gonna be a Nightvake book.
Anybody going to the live event?
If so please take pictures of Cecil Baldwin and post it online. I can only find the one. .. :/
Edit: No I found another one! ....I think. It's hard to tell which ones are him and which ones are people who some fans think would make a good Cecil.
Edit of the edit: He has a facebook page. But it still uses the one picture..

To quote the great American philosopher, Sweet Brown, "Ain't nobody got time fo' dat."Is the one picture the one of him showing off his eye tattoo? Because I know there's at least one picture on the Internet of him showing off his eye tattoo.
"We're home, Chewie."I'm going to the live event. I heard they were talking about it doubling as the book launch but it's looking more and more like that's not gonna happen.
Anyway, there's footage of Night Vale live at something called Rebel Girl in NYC back in March. This is the official copy, though it's shot from an odd angle. Someone else recorded it with their iDevice, allowing for a much better look at Cecil. Both copies have him arrive about two minutes in, after brief words from the MC and an intro from Jeffrey Cranor and Joseph Fink.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.I saw that one! He's so furry!
I wonder if he's soft....
Anyway, that wasn't the one I was talking about but at least I have more pictures!
And thanks Wack'd!

To quote the great American philosopher, Sweet Brown, "Ain't nobody got time fo' dat."Sadly I live too far away from LA. Or wherever this event was held.
@the impala: Thanks for the translation. Wow, that was actually kind of sad. Wonder how he knew. Probably never going to be addressed.
Also I heard it was a comic book that wouldn't involve Cecil showing up. It would be other characters in the town.
@Ace
The comic book sounds pretty awesome. And it makes sense for Cecil not to show up, they want everyone to have their own personal Cecil.
But the website just says 'upcoming Nightvale book' so who's to know? *fingers crossed for the comic book*
To quote the great American philosopher, Sweet Brown, "Ain't nobody got time fo' dat."We've had confirmation that a compilation of year one annotated scripts, short stories and fanart is their first priority for bookifying the series.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Well, I'm looking forward to it!
To quote the great American philosopher, Sweet Brown, "Ain't nobody got time fo' dat."Awesome.
On a related subject, fan-trailer.

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableAh! Too many Dead Like Me clips! I cannot re-contextualize those!
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.A fan-made intro for a Night-vale show.

Analysis.
Wack'd: Same for me, except replace Dead Like Me with Supernatural and Thor. Still a really good fan trailer, though.
Love the idea of Clark Gregg as the Sheriff.
"We're home, Chewie."He can't be the sheriff! He wasn't wearing a mitre and balaclava!
Any fan project that proposes ousting Cecil Baldwin as Cecil Thevoiceofnightvale loses points with me.
Also yes my headcanon is that Cecil's last name is Thevoiceofnightvale shut up

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. My favourite was Johnny Depp as the Apache Tracker.
The Revolution Will Not Be Tropeable
Well Nightvale folk use birds as horoscopes so who knows what songs signify.
