and I admit to being in the wrong with Blaming Enter, then (as much as I hate the guy, to be brutally honest with you guys... That shouldn't have fueled me, however.)...
New Web Browser, same old Shokew.Bob Camp's working on Spongebob now? That might be a plus.
Then again Ren got the "Krabs treatment" during Camp's Ren And Stimpy episodes.
So some time ago, I stumbled upon this.
Does anyone know which one of them is that song that plays when one character chases something? (For example, when Squidward was chasing the baby jellyfish in "Jellyfishing" or when he was chasing Sponge Bob in "Krusty Krab Pizza"?)
I hadn't posted in the forums in quite a while(I've done some editing here), but I noticed here hadn't talked about the recent episodes. Lost in Bikini Bottom was okay, but its plot is nothing and the characterization of Sponge Bob still feel season 5-ish, but the jokes and the animation really made up. Tutor Sauce was really good, with Mr. Krabs not acting too greedy, instead he's back to the seasons 1-3 self we all love. Although it is predictable and repetitive.
Who seen the new episodes? IMO, they were better than those two because the humor/animation is even better. Squid Plus One is the better episode of the pair for that reason, but Executive Treatment was funny and clever for a Patrick episode.
Now while I did wrote something about the show's animation, had anyone notice there's has been an Animation Bump for the last 4 aired episodes? Ever since the start of the post-second movie era, the animation had gotten much fluid than the previous few seasons. It's as free-flowing as seasons 1, 4, and the two movies. I love that animation style, it's been impressive so far. The new animation style reminds me of Ren and Stimpy due to the constant off-modelling and fluidity.
I'm trying not to compare the last four episodes to the pre-movie area, 'cause obviously it's not gonna revert to such a status so easily. But as they stand, I actually really liked these episodes. They're definitely not as mean-spirited as before, and the animation feels a lot less stiff and more... I dunno, just more? I dunno, it's hard to explain.
Don't listen to that guy! He's trying to lead you down the path of righteousness. I'm gonna lead you down the path that rocks....Wait, there actually are new episodes?
I say that because Nick hasn't really aired an episode since Spongebob, You're Fired.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! The latest one last night was actually pretty good. It focused more on Patrick and Squidward this time around. And Squidward's story really makes me feel more sorry for his poor, lonely, and self-centered life. Oh the social horror...
"We be we baby!"I'm not judging the quality of the most recent eps, I'm surprised that Nick actually aired a new episode.
I don't really say that all post movie episodes are awful, but that the post-movie era as a whole is bad.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Saw one of the more recent episodes. It was good. Very good, honestly. Perhaps not on par with the classic episodes, but still really good. Spongebob was likeable, Patrick wasn't an annoying dumbass, jokes where Squideward gets harmed are funny and don't feel unwarented, the writing was good as well the visual gags. It really feels much more different then past post movie episodes. In a good way.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013So far, the post-sequel episodes had been really decent. No bad ones yet and the weakest was LIBB (Lost in Bikini Bottom, since it feels like a weak season 5 episode) which was okay. Like I said before, the second half of season 9 had been getting a noticeable Animation Bump and not to mention the amount of Off-Model visual gags we got lately (such as Squid Plus One when Squidward grew a Demon Head twice, most of the faces in Company Picnic, and Patrick finally making more off-model faces in last night's episodes). If only certain cartoons like Regular Show and The Simpsons have those traits again (no offense to their current animators, but I think they should bump up the animation as well as making more exaggerated faces) I do notice the Character Rerailment in these episodes. The closest we got to Flanderization so far was Mr. Krabs' role in What Eating Patrick (he acted a little much like his post-movie self due to his greed), but I think Married to Money might have that trait again. I'm not sure what the upcoming episode is gonna be about (will not air until the 16th), but whatever is it, it looks interesting. Looking forward to the guest stars ones (Bob Barker, Jon Hamm and more).
My opinion on SBSP is that it was an ok show during its first 3 seasons, not Rugrats or Fo P level of good, but watchable. However, after the movie the series alternated from bland to downright horrible. And make watching any pre-movie episode hard. You can't help but think of the jerk Patrick would become, for example.

The platypus is my spirit animal.Actually I can help that very well: I just don't.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Fop has a level quality of good?
Let's not start arguments here. But I agree with Physical Stamina. The Fairly Odd Parents was Nick's #2 show for quite some time. The show's writing is aimed a little lower on the age scale than Spongebob's first few seasons, but I loved it equally as a kid.
That was an honest question.
Yes Fo P had quality. :) but that's for another thread.
I was just saying that the post-movie flanderizations of the characters make watching the old episodes hard.
The platypus is my spirit animal. Then don't think about the post-movie episodes.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Don't get me wrong, but some post-movie episodes are actually funny. Even though it was Squidward torture porn, I loved "Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful" when Squidward got all those tickets. It had me dying laughing when I first saw it and I was only 17.
the problem most Squid Torture eps have is that he gets put through so much physical pain in some (like getting his Toenail ripped off), or is forced to be with Spongebob against his will. Getting a ticket is minor compared to those.
Of course, even the early seasons had eps that Tortured Squidward, but they weren't as bad with the torment. Sometimes it was brought on by him.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Usually in the early episodes he deserved it to a certain degree for being a ass towards Spongebob and Patrick.
The modern day episodes don't really do that. Hell the roles are flipped. You would get Spongebob and Patrick being dicks towards Squidward (it being unintentional part of the time doesn't really justify it) and he still get's the pain heaped on him.
Basically the reason why the Squidward Torture porn episodes are bad is they pretty much make the world hate Squidward for existing. In the case of the episode with all those ticket gags he was thrown a bone at one point so it was actually pretty funny in a mean way without being excessively cruel.

Also the crane episode wasn't bad, since it was his own mistake that did it. Granted it's like Crabs is peddling drugs, but he did worse in classic eps.
Yeah, some post episodes were, good mostly season 4. The one with the wishing well was honestly great, the one with Patric writing an Ear Worm that makes the town go nuts.
"No will to break."Fo P is better than a lot of people give it credit for, and while I haven't seen the most recent episodes (people say there's been a relatively recent decline in quality), it overall is a pretty solid show.
I don't think that it's fair to draw a thick line in the sand and say that these Spongebob episodes are good and these Spongebob episodes suck. While there's a clear and visible decline in quality, that isn't to say that there aren't many episodes afterwards that are really good.
@Physical Stamina: it's hard not to, they play more often than the old ones.
The platypus is my spirit animal.
I agree because I know Mo Bros covered a good chunk of Enter's Sponge Bob Atrocities before Enter did. Mo Bros two Sponge Bob lists came out before Enter even started doing Atrocities. And I believe two of his Family Guys Atrocities had a lot of hate before he talked about them.
