I have a soft spot for Superman III. I think the Lana and Smallville scenes are great and make the film watchable and better then say The Quest for Peace. In fact, Annette O'Toole is probably the one version of Lana that I like.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadRead that III's Lana became the template for future Lanas, like the one in TAS
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Unpopular Opinion: I actually like 3 and 4 more than the 1st.
3 and 4 are not well made, but I can see the attempts story-wise in adding something fresh and interesting to the film series. The first movie is more competently made, but story wise it's kinda lackluster, and has a very Seinfeld Is Unfunny vibe.
Superman 2 is the best one though, definitely, despite it's own flaws.
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.Incidentally, one big difference between the plans for Superman (and the Donner cut) with the Lester version is that it picks up right after the first given Lois and Jimmy enjoying the success of their story.
Theatrical cut suggests it's been some time.
Of course the irony is neither director can claim a full cut since some material is needed to bridge scenes together.
Overall, I'd say for a complete as version possible if they experimented, go with the Lester version except for anything with Hackman and Brando. Plus as an old cut on You Tube did, go with the diner scene just as the kiss is finishing. Just works as implication that Clark and Lois have to work things out.
Everything else is a compilation for deleted scenes section.
Lester stuff I go with cause as long as it is, the terrorist bit gives us a typical Superman piece before the main story is in motion.
Phoebe and Her Unicorn thread: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=16104243270A34144300I used to watch the Nostalgia Critic, but eventually fell out of interest. And this was years before…whatever controversy he’s currently got himself into.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Stray observations:
- "Both of these people could be on the cover of Absolutely NO Impression Monthly."
- "Well, I'll have to kiss you to make you forget that."
- "That was me, exploding again."
- "Ha, even my puns are evil!"
- "He gives the reassuring smile of 'no refunds'..."
Only one I haven't seen and I have little desire to. It's not the best or worst. I KNEW there'd be a Batman Forever reference there.
Meanwhile, this is the only Superman movie I've seen besides the DCEU movies.
It's been 3000 years…That Spider-Man 3 reference was... random. Was that police officer played by the same actor that plays Parker's landlord, or something?
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.Probably the only joke I liked from his "Independence Day" riff where the alien pops out at Will Smith: "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US." (punch) "OW."
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.I find it funny that his take on the Snyder Cut is nine minutes shorter than his vid on the original cut.
It's been 3000 years…Don't make me sad the DCEU is over. Well, I can just be reminded of their worst movies.
Oh, that explains it. I knew he reviewed it before!
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Expecting Wish (2023)?
Too bad, who's up for some pudding and extremely poorly aged content.
It's been 3000 years…Welp, I figured the Bill Cosby thing was a joke at the end of the previous episode.
I mean... do we really need an episode like this? May as well do a Top 11 Nickelodeon Moments That Didn't Age Well
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them. There were already six allegations against Bill Cosby by 2005. Why didn't Penn and Teller do an episode of Penn & Teller: Bullshit! on him?
I found that to be the most insulting thing about their "Holier Than Thou" episode. If Christopher Hitchens had written a book on him, I sooo would have become an atheist.
Stray observations:
- I wonder if this video was made because Doug's fatigue had prevented him from working on the Wish review?
- ...I hope this is just a temporary intro or at least one used for skitless NCs because it's mostly underwhelming.
- "I believe 'fun' has filed a twenty-yard restraining order against you, so I would rephrase that."
- "...No argument here!"
- Doug's Cosby voice sounds like Charlie from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Just a person. He/him.Maybe he could do a Top 11 Donald Trump cameos as a spiritual sequel? I mean, he did become a celebrity in the 80s, and regardless of your politics it's kind of funny to think that the guy became president
Trump's fanbase would love that.
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.Should have made this one after the Fat Albert review.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.A lot of feedback to that video consists of people noting that it has less horribly dated Bill Cosby ads, and more ads just featuring Bill Cosby (which is still cringeworthy on its own) and Nostalgia Critic using them as an excuse to make rape jokes. It has even overthrown the pilot episode of Demo Reel as what Lady Emily considers the worst NC creation!
So, as far as NC's history is concerned... nothing has changed?
The Fat Albert review was poorly received?
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.
I am surprised he made that countdown without reviewing the movies themselves lol
Superman III is the one I actually haven't watched. I can't wait his take on it since I heard it was bad.
