Aaand it's a line of dialogue.
Supporting a rename, also due to bad usage stats.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWorks for now.
I like the idea Did I Just Think That Out Loud, since it also covers instances where the person has the ability to project thoughts, but it's dialog.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. That is also dialogue. Which makes it a no go.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman^^ that would technically expand the definition, and that should be decided before the names get chosen.
((I'm in favour of expand and rename))
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Given a fair number of examples are along those lines already, that should get pounded out.

Check out my fanfiction! One of these days I swear I'm gonna have to open a TRS for "Misused: No New Stock Phrases". (Okay, I admit I'm not entirely serious about that. But I'm not entirely joking, either.)
The last trope I'm aware of getting launched out of YKTTW before the crackdown on dialogue-based titles was Shall I Repeat That?. It was probably not the last one, but it's the best one I remember.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.This article was created before the ptitle replacement, which was earlier than the stock phrase policy, I'll note.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSingle prop crowner's hooked.
Isn't there still the issue of whether or not the definition should be expanded?
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.I think we're unanimous on broadening it to include non-Soviet Russia examples of the transpositional pun.
EDIT: Dang it, wrong thread. I need another coffee apparently.

Still looking for an answer to my question above.

Alt Names crowner. Please add new options as you see fit.

- Alice does not have psychic powers, but Bob's powers allow him to project his thoughts. He just realized he may have projected something that might offend her.
Both are Did I Just Say That Out Loud? + telepathy, but the current definition is the first example only. I think this trope should be a sub trope of Did I Just Say That Out Loud?, covering all telepathic examples.

Link to TRS threads in project mode here.As the only person who downvoted the new name, I should say that it's still too ambiguous for me. The name indicates nothing that it's about dirty thoughts.
The two tropes do not support the idea of only dirty thoughts. Insults, sarcastic quips, and "secret" plans are examples on both trope pages.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Just reread the description.
Which gives another reason to rename. I still don't think the suggested name would help.
Tropes Are Not Narrow, there's no reason this should be limited to dirty minds.

Crown Description:
Vote up for yes, down for no.
This name has no indications that it has anything to do with telepathy. This is a problem, since without the telepathy an example wouldn't be this trope, it'd be Did I Just Say That Out Loud?. Suggestions?
