[up]I heard that earlier today and it was genuinely beautiful. This is what I've been wanting from her for the last several years. It makes me hopeful that Lover will have the same lyrical care that a lot of Red had.

More context since this is a topper. Taylor Swift released "The Archer."

[up][up]This. I’m rooting for Truth Hurts to take the top spot honestly.

[up]I think it’s safe to say Drake will win Artist of the Decade. I would rather it be Rihanna but it doesn’t seem likely at this point.

I haven’t decided on my feelings for the new Ariana/Social House song yet. I think I need to hear it a couple of more times, but from my understanding of what the message is I don’t really care for it.

Well there's a couple songs presently going round the radio that I'm really not digging.

First is that Saweetie song "My Type" (presently #37) mainly owing to proving my theory correct that modern music nowadays is 100% bereft of creativity anymore. Why? They sampled Petey Pablo's "Freak-a-Leek" for their instrumentals and filled it with generic drivel lyrics.

A second one I don't like is "Go Loko" by YG, Tyga and Jon Z (#51 presently) mainly for one reason only. It's complete and total mumble rap with absolutely Indecipherable Lyrics. The Carlos Santana style guitar rhythm is decent though.

On the flipside though I'm highly amused by a song titled "Rescue Me" because it has a bit of Mondegreen to it. Specifically in the chorus it opens with "Would you rescue me, would you have my back, take my car when I start to crack?". The Mondegreen happens here the "start to crack" bit is sometimes heard as "stop to crap". [lol]

Also, "Lover" is a great song (as well as some other songs from Taylor Swift's eponymous album). It's very sweet and warm in a way that only TS can do. She gets a lot of hate and all, but I can never take away the fact that she's a pretty damn good songwriter.
