Yeah, but I mean "The Frost Knight" seems out of place since the subtitles of the other characters are all talking about their species in some way.
"The Hound" is kinda lacking, they can afford to tack on something to it to add oomph, like say, "The Psychic Hound"...
Of course, unless anything they can think of to add, that is actually appropriate, is a spoiler.
I just got a sub-3 minute run in the FP2 demo as Carol. For some reason Carol's buzzsaw is super easy to hit consistently on the boss, unlike Milla's murderbeam. Tossing the bike seems to add damage.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Milla runs can reach below 1-55, though it's really starting to push how much optimization is possible.
And that's true, Carol's bike throw is really powerful. Hell they might have to nerf it in the game proper.
"No will to break."New gameplay update guys!
Was that some kind of counter move Lilac did towards the start?
Even though I've long since played the demo, I still gotta marvel how pretty that all looks. Plus even more moves for the girls. And more of Woofle's great music. Can't fucking wait.
"No will to break.""Are you hankering for a spanking?"
Carol, your big sister is, um... Certainly something.
The fanart will come.
I take that as a hopeful sign the cheese isn't entirely scrubbed out, it's part of the game's identity really.
"No will to break."It's still really weird for me to see Tysontan's artwork in this game, if only because I'm much more used to seeing his signature robotic/mechanical aesthetic in his drawings (despite him regularly having art of non-robotic characters even before now). Still awesome nonetheless.

God, that's looking awesome. Really excited for this game now!
His variable character designs from a while back were all great and seeing the most fitting for the game in action has been a treat. They got some grade A vocal talent for some of the new characters, too, so I'm guessing the first one did pretty well overall if they're able to spring for so many talented contributors.

No console confirmation yet.
They have a target date, but they want to be certain they can reach it before announcing it.
I'm really damn excited for this. FP 1 is one of my favorite indies. Hopefully we get both on the switch at some point as I would love to play them on the go.
And the spritework and design all around is amazing. I love that the game is adopting it's own style and direction separate from the Sonic games.

Has any new information come about on FP 2 lately?
Also, I've been wondering what Spade's levels were originally going to be... So far I can figure it to Aqua Tunnel > Relic Maze > Fortune Night > Sky Battalion > Trap Hideout > ??? (maybe Jade Creek???) > Thermal Base > Battle Glacier > (some 4-stager set in the Shuigang Palace)
I do writing, feel free to check out my stories here! https://numbugwritingblog.tumblr.com/post/686233243868102656/numbugs-shared-heroic-uniHm, last I knew is that the first game is being brought to Switch.
But the second one... Yeah, no news currently.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...Today I was debating whether to get Megaman 11 or Shantae Half genie(with the dlc included) and buying the other tormorrow when I get paid. Then I scroll over the "people also liked blah blah" and saw freedom planet, which I totally forgot was released on PS 4. Then I saw it was 15 bucks and got it right away lol.
Anyway the game is fun, and while kinda corny it's done in a charming way. The game feels like the love child of sonic and treasure games, two of my "ideal" style of 16 bit (action)platforming. Admittedly some of the character designs are kinda funky(the panda dude and the alien guy look kinda derpy) but I like some of them too(the snake guy is kinda cool). Lilac is my favorite to play so far, though I'm finding Carol while cool in concept(gravity defying motorcycle? dude) she's kinda ehhh gameplay wise. Millia is interesting though a bit weird.
Milla gains a ton of possibilities once you figure out you can use the recoil from her attacks backwards to generate high speed and jumps. She's the absolute highest tier character in speedruns, not that it effects casual play too much.
"No will to break."I want them to give her something for casual play, since I find it next to impossible to pull off the high level stuff and without it she's pretty slow.
Freedom Planet 2 completely overhauled how she plays and she's probably the most newbie friendly character overall - a proper melee combo, her cubes don't impede her attacks or movement any more, and she can move and shield by jumping during in addition to parrying like everyone else. She can also use her cube as ammo for a ranged attack, too.
Her and Carol's overhauls in the demo were both a lot of fun.

Oh yeah, it's great how just a few tweaks make Carol loads more fun. She can slash while running without having to stop, she can stow away her bike at any time, toss the bike to make a combo, and throws a chakram disk in any direction to boomerang upwards so she can scale walls much faster.
"No will to break."I'm doing somewhat better with carol now. Learning the pounce slash helps a lot. I still feel like she struggles in certain situations but that's to be expected.
With Lilac I beat the the thermal plant and am at the level after, with Carol I beat the hideout and am at the thermal plant. Funnily enough some of the fights which gave me a hard time as Lilac and I had little trouble with using carol. Serpentine in the creek stage was still a bit tough at first due to the plasma soldiers but once they were done and I got the bike I was able to beat him pretty quickly. The panda girl gave me some trouble too, especially since it's possible to lose like 60% of your health right before reaching her.
So far the peacock boss killed me the most. I lost like 5 lives against him. Spade killed me a couple of times with lilac until I figured out the ledge trick. I beat him first try with Carol.
My favorite levels are probably the city/mall one and the creek, they were fun. Hideout is my least favorite easily though the bike battle was cool.
EDIT: Beat the game with Lilac! I'm not a total fan of how Final Dreadnaught takes up space for the last 4 levels but they're not very long and merciful with checkpoints, though the first one was probably the toughest in terms of actual level design. Brevon was pretty tough, not so much his 2nd phase(beat that one first try) but his first(retread of one of the most obnoxious bosses in the game) and his 3rd which hits really hard and kills you quickly which makes learning his admittedly not that complex pattern tricky. TBH if the checkpoints weren't so generous the fight would've felt kinda cheap.
Funnily enough mutant serpentine was probably his easiest battle.

UGH got to the last level with Milla, on brevon's 2nd form afer like 5 attempts already and then the game crashes :/ She's the only one left I need to beat the game with too. How crushing.
TBH Milla's endgame is kinda frustrating, moreso than the other two. The squid with the keycard srurrounded by two flowers gave me more trouble than half the bosses in the game and I lost around 6 lives on it alone. The enemy placement seems to go against her more while Carol and lilac are better suited for them. I also feel like Brevon's 2nd form is harder with milla than the other two. Not sure why the trope page says the opposite. Yeah she can deflect shots but okay? She also takes half the hits and she's can't deflect his tackle or pinball move which are his more dangerous moves anyway.

Deflecting his big explosion of shots and using charged murder cubes in tandem lets her kill him much faster than Lilac or Carol can. Dunno if you've been doing this the whole game or not, but always try and shield with the cube, since it has a much bigger hitbox and you can immediately follow up with a big hit after so long as they're not invulnerable at the time.
Yeah, her cubes and shield can deflect back any shots he has to throw at her, and she can easily just fly over his ground dash attack.
"No will to break."NEW TRAILER TIME!
Trust Carol's big sis to let her off with a family discount.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Oh god the duck guy is still around.
That's fantastic.
Lilac the Dragon Girl is almost always her official name in media outside the game. Milla's is kinda lame, yeah. But she's a Basset hound, which not everybody would know what that is, and to avoid any Cream comparisons as a rabbit. Guess they wanted to be sure people knew she was a dog.
Fan stuff almost always goes with Full-Name Basis with Sash Lilac, same with Carol, even if they're only mentioned once.
