Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

I see that Meme Zombie is on the cutlist.
Anyhow, Et Ceterism has now enough votes for cutting as well. As for Devil... - I came up with this message, however, there is something about it that makes me want to submit it here for comment before actually using it:
I see you made the article <page>. As it is, it's fairly useless without examples and likely to be cut. Can you please add some crosswicked trope examples if you can, please?
Thanks.
I'd throw in that as a stub, it's liable to get cut unless it's expanded.
In a vaguely related note, I thought whatisahandleagainguys (the guy who launched Meme Zombie) was already suspended for, uh, saying that Lucky Star was based off his life or something. Going through his history he made this: Zim Tortures Dib With An Annoying Eurobeat Song page. Still weird, so I thought I'd bring it up here just to be safe.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.HappinessCharge Pretty Cure! got page blanked. Not cool.
We don't blank mislaunches, we cut them. What was decided as the resolution for that one?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Nothing so far.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI still think turning it into a redirect for Pretty Cure makes sense as a placeholder.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I agree with that as well.
Also, found the following on-page-trope-free pages: Literature.Hackett, TV Go Home and Website.Anime News Network - the latter might use some crosswicking.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHuh. None of them seem recent, and I don't think we can figure out who made them to PM them.
They're also all pretty pointless at the moment. ANN seems salvageable; I'd post about it on the Anime forum asking forum-goers to add info.
The other two I'd cutlist.

Reality is Unrealistic?
Hackett and TV Go Home -cut.
ANN -see if salvageable

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettI'll do the agreed-on changes soon. Before that, With Fetus - a work page with only zero context examples.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSame as Iron And Wine. Permission to cutlist?
Also, Yowamushi Pedal, very new page. Same with Surreality.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDefinitely fine with me for cutting.
I'll just say now that I'm giving a blanket "cut and PM" vote for any work pages that are missing either of a) a description or b) at least three examples with sufficient context.
Also, thank you for keeping up the lion's share of the work on this, Septimus.

Cut and PM Iron And Wine. If he wants to remake it, he'll have to do it in the correct namespace.
PM the other two. They were made today, the creators may be planning on adding more.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. Thanks for the encouragement, Nocturna.
I'll take care of all the "voted to cut/fix" entries soon.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAaand another one: Locate City Bomb. I am not sure what it's supposed to be, period.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt isn't a trope. It's an accident of rules, and example of tropes.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.I'm not sure what to do with that. Probably cut, as it seems to be neither a trope nor a work, but something doable in at least some versions of D&D, in which case any relevant tropes could be listed on the already existing page.
I went ahead and cutlisted Christina Applegate and Ed O Neill for being stubs in the wrong namespace, messaging the creators. I also cutlisted Et Ceterism and Hackett for the arguments presented in this topic. Same for Iron And Wine, while messaging its creator.
Anyhow, the remaining pages:
- Anime News Network: Don't know about that, honestly.
- Devils In New Dresses: Has anyone messaged this one?
- HappinessCharge Pretty Cure!: Still waiting for some decision. I agree with redirecting, for the record.
- Knowledge of Angels: Seems OK to me.
- Locate City Bomb: So just cutlist?
- Surreality: Having had a PM conversation with the troper, it seems to be up to standard now.
- TV Go Home: Given the large amount of wicks, I would want to know a way to deal with these. Maybe through namespacing, so that people can find the right place for a new page?
- With Fetus: I already messaged this editor - for A Frog in Arkham Asylum ([1]), Jade Cobra ([2]) and Jade Dragon ([3]), all in one batch and for the exact same issues as this page. They said they would wait a bit, and never fixed the issues. Oddly, their remaining edits seem to be fine. I am not sure what the best procedure is here - call in a moderator?
- Yowamushi Pedal: I've messaged the creator.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSeptimus: Good work.
Happiness Charge: redirect
Knowledge of Angels: Looks okay to me
With Fetus: At least ask a moderator for advice, I would think.
Locate City Bomb: Finding the bomb, usually in a city, is a plot in movies, TV, and comics, as well as games. The current page specifies a gameplay mechanic of a different type of plot. So there's trope name trouble. And the description needs work. Cut or send back to YKTTW for a rename.

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettLocate City Bomb: The loophole isn't plot.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here. And that's what I mean about the description. Thank you for clarifying that.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettOK, today no new problem pages so far.
On the others:
- Devils In New Dresses: Messaged the creator as well.
- HappinessCharge Pretty Cure!: I'll go and redirect it then.
- Locate City Bomb: I vote for cutting.
- Treknologic got some examples added. I'll crosswick and index it, then it should be ready.
- With Fetus: I'll bring it to Ask The Tropers.
The webcomic page has been reported in Ask The Tropers.
Also, Despairport - I've messaged the creator. Glued Glasses likewise needs some examples added.
