I’ve always respected Hawkeye, once he stopped kissing women without asking

You know Bocaj...I get the feeling you either aren't a fan, or just like making fun of Clint.

I do like Clint

I mock what I love. And what I don’t love. And what I don’t understand

I have limited range of emotional expression

But to be clear, Hawkeye is the kind of badass normal that I do like. He got really good at one thing through some natural talent and a hell of a lot of practice and lives the superhero life because it’s right and because he can’t imagine any other kind of life. I like him better than Batman in that category of no powers man truth be told.

There's a really good story in Kurt Busiek's Astro City that looks at Quarrel and Crackerjack, two Badass Normals that are on the Honor Guard (Astro City's equivalent of the Avengers, basically). And it shows how, in order to stay Badass Normal, they basically have to train all the time and have no life outside of it and being a superhero. It's a really interesting deconstruction on what it would actually take to be like Hawkeye or Batman.

I'm still not on board with Hulk being immortal but the whole Hawkeye situation was dumb

Technically the revelation is that he always was immortal, they even point out all the times Banner has died and come back.

Maestro also said he was immortal when he came back from being atomized.

Besides, being Immortal doesn't mean he's unbeatable.

My father wants us to call him a badass because he idolizes Charlie Sheen & loves Two and a Half-Man.

So I’m fine with retiring the term as a result of suffering through that.

Does anyone else want a real Kamala Khan Animated Series?

I know she’s featured in as part of a team in Marvel Rising, but I was kinda picturing a semi-stand alone, DTVA created show, mainly centered around her and her supporting cast, along the lines of Kim Possible or BH 6 or something.

I don't know if my opinion counts since I wouldn't be in the target demographic for a Kamala Khan show. But yeah, definitely do a Kamala Khan animated show, totally. If possible get the folks being X-Men Evolution to do it. That was a show that did female characters well, introduced Wolverine's Affirmative-Action Legacy X-23, made an X-Men show that was about a team and not Wolverine/Scott/Jean (though they get their moments).

That was a show that appealed to teens and got adults and older comics fans interested as well.

Kamala as a character could absolutely manage her own animated series. She's just divorced enough from New York that it allows team ups without getting excessive, and she has a promising Rogue's Gallery.

[up] I would like to see it be handled by DTVA rather than Marvel Animation, since I haven’t been that impressed with them recently. (Marvel Rising is okay, with slightly more fluid and dynamic animation, while also leaning into a bit an anime aesthetic, but Marvel’s Spider-Man just looks cheap.)

Marvel Animation is certainly behind Disney's original works. Disney has Ducktales 2017, and before they had Gravity Falls, and other original programming. Kim Possible has been mentioned even if it's a little old by now.

And meanwhile Marvel Animation post buyout...Chirping Crickets.

[up] I mentioned Kim Possible since it was the closest comparison that I could think of, since it’s a female led animated action dramedy, with a Wake Up, Go to School & Save the World type premise.

The most recent Guardians of the Galaxy series had great animation — mainly because each episode explored a different aspect of animation, from classic black and white to modern.

But yeah, I've been super impressed by the current Ducktales and if we could get a Ms Marvel series like that, it would be great.

Personally, though, I would want an animated Nextwave series.

I'm willing to look forward to paying my tv bills if we can get any series with Gurihiru's art style animated.

If possible get the folks being X-Men Evolution to do it.

That show came out more than a decade ago, those folks might not even be in the industry.

Personally, I'm hoping the Ducktales crew get to work on a Marvel show.

I would love either a Ms. Marvel animated series or a Champions series. I do love Kamala's supporting cast but I also love all the heroes on the Champions.

Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.
