That's the original H version. Though, you could check that out as well if you want, since it's not that bad.

Thanks Kuro, I'll be taking a look at that later this evening. (I must have missed your previous post on it, sorry.)
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project! Also, Bakemonogatari and Boku Wa Tomodachi Ga Sukunai are apparently up for review. I'm not really sure why. The former is simply a bizarre show, not porn, though the second season was, well, unique in it's approach to fanservice. No pedo pandering worth noting, though there's a girl that looks about eleven that has occasional sexual humor gags. The latter show is pretty fanservicey, but I wouldn't call it an excuse plot or anything like that. There are two little girls, but they're basically there to be cute, not sexy. Seems like that to me, anyway. They're also not used romantically, though the show is playing with the Harem Genre.
I've got a question related to this clean-up - what is the official word of examples in works that have been definitively cut on trope pages? Do we remove all such examples? Do we remove examples if they relate to porn? Leave it alone?
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Having read the latter's manga, there is definitely nothing sexual about the two female children portrayed there.
Haven't seen the anime, though, so if it's worse then what I've read...

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Bakemonogatari was probably flagged as pedo-pandering because of a couple of questionable scenes in the Nadeko Snake arc, as well as Koyomi's bad habit of harassing Hachikuji (which is lampshaded in the second season).

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenBakemonogatari is definitely a spiritual successor to Sayonara Zetsubou-Sensei, and, aside from the unrelenting cynicism of the latter, are pretty similar in tone and fanservice level. If that helps anyone. It's been a while since I watched Bakemonogatari, but I definitely don't remember it being something we'd want to purge.
EDIT: I'm referring to the anime here. I have no idea about the light novels.

My bet is trolls or people flagging anything with fan-service.
edited 9th May '12 10:10:26 AM by Shadis
My first bet on why Bakemonogatari was flagged was trolls, but it was probably because of the Fanservice. Otherwise, I don't see why it would have been flagged.

Tropers watching moviesNo, it's not that. They were flagged by somebody who went down the Pages Pending For Perusal By P 5 page and flagged anything that had been suggested there. Those recs were made before we set the ratings standard, and we still had plenty of strawmen. Those series should get a free pass.

"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerHonestly what I find baffling was the flag for Kamisama Dolls. I don't recall anything as far as fanservice goes beyond Hibino's Gag Boobs.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenWhat are the ratings for those series? If they're part of the exemption and flagged without reasoning provided, I can zap them from the tool.
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!Bakemonogatari hasn't been given an English rating yet, because it has just recently been licensed for release by Aniplex. I'd say it'd get a 16+.
A short digression: I just realised that in my page 92 post I may have made it sound as though I'm actively trying to restore Lotte no Omocha!. * This is not the case—I was merely reporting that I still have an unused vote. I also hinted that I don't really plan to use it by suggesting that the status quo will most likely stand.
I hope this didn't cause confusion.
All right. Please resume.
On another note, I noticed that many of these grey areas involve "sex comedies". To make sure I'm not out of touch with reality, how would you set the boundaries on sex comedies?

The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Boku Wa Tomodachi Ga Sukunai was flagged as TV-MA by Funimation.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenThe Living With Monster Girl manga, which is actually titled "Everyday That There is Monster Girls" [sic] (Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou in Japanese), is also available on Manga Traders. I'd give the link, but I don't know if the "no links to scanlations" rule applies here as well...
Well, I'd suppose that no explicit sex would be a given. Attempts by one party to have sex with another (whether they fail or implicitly succeed), however, seem to be more of a debatable issue.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.^^ Seriously? It's pretty tame. There's nothing there more objectionable than swimsuits being worn at the pool and short skirts.

@Catalogue
Is the sex for turning people on or is it there because its funny?
Don't know my self, but that's what I would go by.

So in a way, we still allow very adult-oriented content that's not bleached-underpantsable, but still not porn?

@Arha: That seems to be their SOP for what they deem fanservice-heavy shows. I seem to remember a lot of focus on Sena's chest, but it's nowhere near cut-worthy.

Ninja'd. Voting tool is linked in the thread in case you want to watch progress on the decision-making process as well.
