I'm pretty sure "sexy techniques" is referring to the Sexy no Jutsu, something from the actual anime and manga that Naruto uses to turn himself into a naked woman.

[up][up][up]Perfect Lionheart can get deeply weird. Whilst it's unlikely to be flat-out porn, it would not surprise me if there was paedo-pandering somewhere in Chuunin Exam Day.

The difficulty, of course, is getting to it.

The first Weekenders fic, Stars When You Shine, mentions sex a bit, but there's only one full-on sex scene. While it's graphic, I would argue it's necessary, as it facilitates what I assume is the rest of the series' plot - and I'm not spoilering this because I just spoilered to death over in Special Efforts - which is Pete being turned into a vampire by William, the clan leader. Most of the fic is about vampire politics, and other sexual situations are mentioned fleetingly. On to fic two.

Ok, I've been saying this for times, but once more: Can we have a rule that someone needs to give info when flagging something (on discussion pages or in this forum) or else the flag is zapped right off? It would make operation here much easier.

Paladin of Shadows: I already looked at it and didn't find enough porn to cut it and no children either.

Madou Souhei Kleinhasa: Komodin already looked into it, complete with a CG set. It's in the post-links thread.

Zestar Apple Flambe: Not intended as porn and doesn't look like it either. It's about ponies, so I don't expect pedo concerns either.

Druuna: Morbus Gravis lacks tropes as for first. Description doesn't sound porn-y to me. Has a page on Wikipedia

The problem with that is that I sincerely doubt a fair number of people flagging things in good faith are actively participating in the forum here.

Second Weekenders fic is more explicit. For some reason, the two major sex scenes are basically right after the other at the end of the fic, which kind of dulls their impact. The plot is weird as fuck, but there is still a plot, and most of the fic focuses on William brainwashing a newly-vamped Pete. The author at least makes it clear that the constant stream of attempted rape and psychological warfare is definitely not good, but then shoots straight into these lovingly written sex scenes at the end. Oh well, onto fic three.

Absolutely no sex in that one, either. Moving on to five.

Three brief, not very explicit sex scenes in five. They are actually in a romantic, loving context, albeit a Slap-Slap-Kiss one, which is shocking for this series. I'll do six-eight later on, I need to eat and there's people coming over.

Chuunin Exam Day and Time Braid are really in the same boat, given that the former has a Tsunade/Naruto/Harem pairing and the latter has a Sakura/Anko pairing. (Neither of them -technically- gets into porn, but the former can have its liberal usage of "massages" interpreted as a euphemism for sex while the latter makes clear references to sex happening but uses the Sexy Discretion Shot to the fullest).

Ultimately, the question to be asked is: If a character is in a Groundhog Day Loop, and are shown to be maturing mentally and as a character, is it paedophilia for the purposes of the panel?

[up]I seem to recall we'd ruled that Really 700 Years Old is no excuse.

The real question is how explicit CED gets, and given that a typical Perfect Lionheart story is basically a lengthy schizoid break, I have absolutely no idea on that count.

Okay, pro-con time for The Weekenders fanfic series!

Verdict: Keep, elaborate on trope page/clean

Pros:

- has a rather involving, deep story about vampires taking over the world and the movement designed to resist them. Clearly has some other purpose beyond smut.

- the smut scenes that exist fall into one of two categories: a) psychological horror, which, while lovingly rendered, is never treated as anything less than horrifying by the characters in-story, and b) essential to the central love story.

- Downer Ending. I know some people will be all, "how is THAT a pro?", but because of the fact that the ending is basically from the POV of the last man standing after a vampire-fueled Ballroom Blitz looking for his best friend, the story is aiming for something a little more than titillation.

Cons:

- the second story is a huge mess, as far as our policies are concerned. The entirety of it is made up of Mind Rape, actual rape, attempted rape, brainwashing, and psychological breakdown. It's easily the worst of the eight stories, and the most graphic.

- our trope page is horribly misleading about the stories' content.

- this is Real-Person Fic. Are we hosting articles on that kind of thing? I know that we document it occurring online, but since this is about people in well-known bands being vampires who are basically indiscriminate rapists, torturers, and murderers, I'm more inclined to think weirdly on that fact than normal.

If it ain't smut for smut's sake, it's probably safe. The policies we abide by say nothing about real person fic.

Well, a real person fic would still be fanfiction unless it was an actual biography. But that's a whole 'nother kettle of fish.

Probably should be treated the same as is, or actually be treated harsher.

If there's no legal issues with us hosting it, yeah, I'd recommend keeping it. Once I'm sure it's being kept, I'll make the trope list more than "OMGZ VAMPIRE SEKS".
