We could restrict it to in-universe examples only.
Folks, Parallel Porn Titles was already on the CVR - it was resolved as "keep": [1].
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYes, fictional examples should still be fine.
Whoops. XD. Sorry, P5; my bad.
Eddie, would there be a way to make it so that the page indicates if it's been flagged before? Now that I'm thinking about it, I'll make sure I check the resolved list before flagging something, but I can't imagine I'd be the only one who wouldn't think to do that before flagging.
I hate to second-guess the panel when they make a decision I am ideologically predisposed to agree with, but isn't Parallel Porn Titles literally a porn directory?
Nocturna: I think we've gone a couple of rounds on that in this thread.

The child is father to the man —OedipusNo. The porn titles are potholed to the non-porn pages we have on the wiki.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI know (I've read all the threads associated with this since the beginning), but I figured this was a good illustration of why it would be a good idea.

I really do think that Parallel Porn Titles should only include fictional examples. Which is to say, cut the top half of the examples, but leave the Parodies section alone.

I agree.
Sometimes seen with a "526" after my name.Take it to TRS then. It has already been cleared by The Five, but adding a %% comment to never link to the porn as opposed to potholing to the series may make sense.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAfter reading this I'm wondering we should cut Playboy for pedo-pandering. Ick.
That image there? I can't see how it could be paedophile pandering, honestly.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDidn't that happen back in 1975 or something? Because I'm pretty sure they don't do that kind of thing now.
Pretty sure that isn't the full image, for obvious reasons.
And yes, Playboy used to be a lot more raunchy than it is now. (I've seen some of the older issues first-hand. It definitely was porny back then.)
Edit: I found the full image, and it is fairly disturbing. Again, for obvious reasons, I'm not going to post a link. Google it yourself.
Second edit: Joke removed in retrospect, not the best idea.

Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Playboy's gotten in trouble for unknowingly hosting underaged photos in their pages before. If I'm not mistaken, you can't order the famous Vanessa Williams centerfold issue in the back catalogue because it contains images of Traci Lords, who at the time claimed to be over eighteen, but was most decidedly not. I get the feeling you wouldn't be able to order the issue with the Brooke Shields image, either.
Ah, Traci Lords. I mainly know her for her music, and my favorite track from her is "Control," which featured in the Mortal Kombat movie.
According to The Other Wiki, Penthouse got in trouble because of Traci's stuff as well.

@4800
Looking at Eiyuu x Maou's Erogamescape page, it appears to have copious amounts of H-scenes, including rape and tentacles. There's also a lolita character. Sounds like a perfect candidate for deletion.
~Cute and fluffy romance for all!~Someone just went through and flagged Applied Phlebotinum, Characters as Device, The Aggressive Drug Dealer, Cop Show, TJ Hooker and Fair Cop.
Either someone's got a real run of bad luck in misclicking, or we've got a troll on our hands. Either way, those should be taken off ASAP.
EDIT: Hmmmm, that didn't take long. Carry on, people...

I've noticed that the pages for A Serbian Film, Caligula, and Salo Or The 120 Days Of Sodom have been redlinked and locked. Is this because of the pornographic content? If so, why isn't The Human Centipede redlocked for the same reasons?
edited 9th Jun '12 7:32:50 PM by KingClark
Because there's no sex in The Human Centipede.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing. There apparently is in the sequel. Barbed wire rape at that...
The first one made me sick to my stomach. From what I hear about the second one, it'll put me into a coma.
"Pancakes. Oh, I blew it." - Joel Hodgson Nobody better lay a Butterfinger on my 3DS!Roommates2009... hm. Can someone who's familiar with this work tell me if this is pornography or not?

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.@King Clark: Caligula, Salo and A Serbian Film all had rather explicit sex in them, Caligula due to Bob Guccione's involvement in the film's making, Salo due to being adapted from a story by the Marquis De Sade, and A Serbian Film due to...well, fuck if I know — the maker of this probably wanted to invoke the now defunct True Art Is Offensive trope for all it was worth.
I seem to recall Roommates 2009 getting cut when it had the Fanfic/ namespace, if I'm not too mistaken.

I just flagged Parallel Porn Title, because the whole page is about porn made from non-porn works, which is too much about porn to fit the content policy.
