I missed The Promised Neverland because I was away for a bit, does anybody know if it's available to watch on Toonami's website?

I enjoy the discussion here but I can't actually watch Toonami myself, including the website, since I'm not American. If you're able to watch the thing on tv you should have access to the site too.

If you can't watch it on the site there's always the option of watching the first episode subbed on Crunchyroll. You don't have to pay anytihng or even make an account as long as you're fine with their ads.

If I wanted to do that, I would have.

Finally managed to catch last week's episode of Ging Freecss and his Quest to Avoid Paying Child Support.

God, Pariston is such a bastard man. Every time he talks I feel like punching him in the face.

Strange choice to have Mama and Poppa Zoldyck be accepting of Alluka's gender, since that was definitely not the case in the original.

In the flashback at least. Now he just calls Alluka them and it and the like.

I think dealing with Alluka or well not dealing with it really for several years is why they just call the poor kid it now.

Before the whole thing arose they just treated her like any one of their kids but the apparent Eldritch Abomination in her caused them to change their minds.

How the family talked about Alluka was always weird to me, because neither side seemed to acknowledge the very obviously different way they were referring to her.

But, honestly, I don't really mind them going with everyone referring to Alluka as female, because the Zoldycks don't strike me as the types who would actually care about the issue.

Except Illumi. He doesnt call Alluka a girl. To cement hes THE asshole of a clan of assassins.

Well the problem to me that that it comes off as kinda whitewashy of Silva and Kikyo. Like Illumi is awful for sure, just the worst, but they're still terrible parents and softening them a bit to make Illumi seem worse doesn't sit right with me.

Well, that's fair, but I think we still have plenty to call them awful parents and people even without that.

Rather than whitewashing them, I imagine it's probably just to make things less confusing. Because, again, the series never directly addresses the discrepancy in terminology and I know people who were reading/watching this arc were confused by it.

I still can't believe that scene where one Tien shields the other Tien from a blast. The outcome is basically the same.

Oh great we're starting off with Freezer 2.0.

I'm not sure what's the point of Frost especially now that we have the actual Frieza back.

They're certainly an acquired taste. If anything, coming across as annoying sells the "childlike innocence" angle of their characters.

Well they primarily only have one character trait for the most part so no your not the only one.
