Suggest Extra Y Chromosome... XYY is obtuse even to a geneticist.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Eh, we covered it in Bio I, but it didn't cover any of this.
Fight smart, not fair.Yeah those effects are fictitious, like blood type affecting personality.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Since it's a moral justification trope, something like X Why Why Chromosome might be fun.
But completely non-indicative. Extra Y Chromosome is better.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAs a redirect?
As the main name.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSeems to me the trope isn't simply "Has an extra Y chromosome".
It's "XYY Males Are Violent" or "XYY Males Are Dangerous" or something like that. Maybe Extra Y Extra Dangerous or Extra Y, Extra Violent

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Extra Y, Extra Violent is good for me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI like Extra Y, Extra Violent.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickExtra Y, Extra Violent is fine.
Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered.Extra Y, Extra Violent seems like a winner to me.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.What is the procedure in this case? Still by-the-book* or what?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhy not? Formal crowner here.
Crowner superglued to thread.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Too bad we can't call it Y So Violent.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.I like.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.I think it needs more examples too. Perhaps a rewrite focusing on the trope itself rather than the misconceptions?
Fight smart, not fair.I'm partial to Extra Y, Extra Violent.
I think the trope is basically the misconceptions being played straight.
Definitely near the top for me, too. So succinct.

It is, but the page needs to concentrate on the ways and times the trope is used and less on why it's factually incorrect.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I can't really help with the trope description as I don't know too much about the trope itself, but I removed "You might not even know you have it, since the body will only take instructions off one." as that would be the X chromosome and not the Y one - this effect is known as "lyonization" but it only occurs with X.
Yes, this description needs expansion in the "trope" department.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanUnanimous with 24 votes in a day (is that a record)? Shall we let it go a bit longer, or go for a rename crowner now?
Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered.
Crown Description:
Vote up for yes, down for no.
This seems like one of those trope pages that got written because somebody had a topic they wanted to write about. I think the title needs some clarity and the description expanded, but I'm not sure.
