Did something happen?
Also I find it weird that Simpsons only got two Lego sets despite having a Lego-themed episode.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.In the real world, the Barbie movie has trailers out and an ex-President has been indicted.
Wake me up at your own risk.I knew only of Barbie trailer meme, but didn't know Trump got indicted.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Hey, wait a minute. If nobody likes Milhouse, then why is he so meme worthy?
I like to keep my audience riveted...thats the meme.
New theme music also a boxWhy does Bart say the family has never had a family meeting before in Season 2 even though they did in Season 1?

Bart doesn't have the best memory.
I like to keep my audience riveted.its funnier if they didn't
New theme music also a boxSpeaking of memory, bump with something I just remembered. I remember when I was a kid, I was confused about this part from “Homer vs. the 18th Amendment.” ^_^;;
Bart: Dad! Driving over gravestones is bad luck!
Homer: Really? I heard good.
When did the prank-loving devil may care Bart become superstitious? :S
I like to keep my audience riveted.so this storyboard for the Banksey couch gag episode
I am so glad they the sense not to go with the stereotypical hats
I'm not even sure I'd call it couch gag given how bleak it is
New theme music also a boxI’m cleaning out the shed of what is now my new townhouse, and it made me remember one of my favorite jokes from Grandpa Simpson that’s funny and gross at the same time. XD
“This elevator only goes to the basement. And somebody made an awful mess down there. D:”
I like to keep my audience riveted."I'm going to the outhouse."
"We don't have an outhouse."
"*gasp* My toolshed!"

"It takes an idiot to do cool things, that's why it's cool" - Haruhara HarukoAnother one about Homer. I remembered some Early-Installment Weirdness about him. In some of the earlier episodes, he had a shotgun, but he treated it more like a useful tool to protect his family and his house from criminals. A very sharp contrast to the handgun he got in “The Cartridge Family,” where his sense of gun safety disappeared and got replaced with an ego the size of Mt. Everest.
I like to keep my audience riveted. He apparently shot it while there was "a bogeyman or bogeymen in the house" so maybe not that responsible.
I love the part where Apu’s two-year-old nephew had a shotgun. Thanks to him, the Gang of Bullies went from cocky to horrified. XD
I like to keep my audience riveted.Sorry about the double post. ^_^;; Cooking the spicy dinner I’m having tonight made me remember one of my favorite jokes from the show. :) The chili cook off was one of the rare times when Ned Flanders did not outshine Homer.
Homer: One… two… hey, what’s the big idea?!
Ned: Oh, all right, I’ll admit it! It’s only two alarm chili. Two and a half tops! I just wanted to be a big man for the boys.
Todd: Daddy, are you going to jail?
Ned: We’ll see, son. We’ll see.
Bumping this thread with a great joke that I just remembered. :)
I was watching the telly at my sister’s house, and guess which movie was listed under Free Movies? ;)
That’s right, Free Willy.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Oh god I just saw the donations episode. Not only did the whole premise flew over my head (like how Lisa and Marge flip-flopped) but my god... Mr. Burns' voice sounds worse than before.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life. The way Simpsons portrays the homeless is despicable. Not just this episode, there was the one with the folk singer Lisa befriended who was a drug addict (of course) and a 'charming' thoh where the happy ending had blob monster Homer eat all the homeless people who were ecstatic because it meant they were indoors.
see my completed Tangled (Varian) fanfic collection! https://archiveofourown.org/works/24467056/chapters/59049532that's just the cynical nature of the Simpsons for you.
New theme music also a boxI think it's a sign that Harry Shearer's voice talent is slowly starting to give in, like how it happened with Julie Kavner, the voice actress for Marge, Patty and Selma. It probably doesn't help that, of all his recurring voice roles, Mr. Burns is the one that Shearer finds the most stressful on his vocal chords. When you've been voicing the character for nearly 35 years, it's bound to happen eventually.
This is going to sound extremely controversial, but I feel that the show will eventually resort to using AI tools for character voices. (I bet there will be an episode focusing on that subject.)
> but I feel that the show will eventually resort to using AI tools for character voices
not if the unions have anything to say about it they won't
New theme music also a boxI mean Shearer already had problems voicing Marvin Monroe and Otto. From what I know he's the oldest of the core cast and they're all veterans now.
Speaking of Simpsons predictions: Everybody is talking about a doll, meanwhile the president gets arrested.
"Effective Altruism" is just another bunch of horsesh*t.
