Sorry about my late contribution (again) ^_^;;. But since we were talking about the unstable nature of Homer and Marge's marriage, it made me remember this line from "Colonel Homer."

Marge: (talking to somebody on the phone) If she fails, we're broke. If she succeeds, I have no husband.

Ironically, it was sort of her own fault. Yeah, who'd have thought that yelling at your husband in the movie theater could have such terrible consequences?

I never understood the Squishee Bart and Milhouse order that's all thick syrup. From what I've seen of smoothies and it's ice and liquid.

Bump with something I just remembered. How did the Simpson kids get so good at driving? XD

In Lisa's case, taking the wheel when Homer gets distracted.

Bart has been shown to have his own copy of the keys and use the car even when he still wore diapers.

And when she wanted to listen to cool music instead of more political stuff. XD

Incidentally, that part made me start liking that song.

Apparently the Season 33 finale will have a couch gag done by Venezuelan fanartist Spikermonster.

Oh, I've seen his art online, but I didn't remember his handle. It's a pretty cool style.

Here is the couch gag for anyone curious. I'm really happy to see Twitter fanartists getting some recognition by the show's crew.

It's weird comparing Homer's behavior in "Lisa's Pony" to his behavior in "Bart Gets an Elephant". You can really see the slide into obnoxious buffoonery.

I saw "My Teacher and An Octopus" for the first time yesterday. Very touching story with a vulnerable Bart, I love the new teacher and their relationship already. I get the feeling she isn't happy with some of her husband's little habits too, which might make for interesting episodes down the line if they have an arc for her.

Ned is apparently a teacher at Bart's school now

He's not anymore. He was Bart's teacher but they never did anything major with that and with Bart referring to Edna as the last person who taught him, Ned's brief teaching stint has seemingly been retconned.

Yeah, it seems like they've pushed that aside and Rayshelle is going to be the new permanent fourth grade teacher from now on. Press releases for the episode seem to make that abundantly clear.

You think they would've done a bit more with Ned as Bart's teacher, but they were only a couple of episodes where they did anything with that development.

I like to think maybe Ned is now teaching Religious studies class instead

I saw her debut ep My Octopus and a Teacher and I will say it's really sweet. Even Homer gets to shine.

The title refers to the Netflix documentary involving an octopus I think

Oh and I tried Pixelated and Afraid, and Boyz N the Highlands. Both are really good episodes. I am shocked we got a "marriage crisis" episode but it isn't actually and has a more balanced, well-meaning Homer.

Mine is one that’s funny and nice at the same time.

Even though it was established earlier that he’s mad at Mona for abandoning the family (even though she did it to protect them), he still bought her some time so that she and Homer could secretly escape before she got arrested by the FBI.
