Where do we start

I see a lot of where do we start around and it maybe just me but this Word Cruft is starting to bug me.

Okay? It's word cruft, delete it.

Kill it. This is example-pitching Word Cruft which is IMO the worst kind.

It is almost as bad as "Why hasn't X been mentioned yet" in the heirarchy of cruft.

Murder it by shooting it in the face and then killing it.

In a similar vein, "[X] does this all the time," is another bit of Word Cruft that must be… must be… … dang, there's no way I can think of anything as funny as the above posts. Though I think this bit was mentioned in another thread.

In a dissimilar vein, "[X] may as well be the poster child for this trope," is yet more word cruft and reeks of Most Triumphant Example.

^^ Yep. Cruft, both of them. Hit them with whatever tool of destruction you prefer. You can chortle evilly as you do so, if you want.

So it ok to leave as is and even use more often? With such endorsement as these, I fell that I can safely deal with this problem with impunity.
