River Tam could do it. Plus, if they're in atmo, they can always do a Crazy Ivan.
TIE fighters. Nimblest ships you'll ever see, especially since they'll usually kill ya. And while River MIGHT be able to fight them one by one, eventually one of them will step on her with an AT-ST. Also, mental powers cant stop orbital bombardment.

I'm baaaaaaackDude, River Tam would hijack an AT-ST, and destroy everything.
She may be badass, but the imperials have ARMIES. Rambo didn't go charging head first into China, andrew jackson didn't invade florida alone, and even Han Solo knows when to run. I will agree she'd take down alot of them, but eventually they'd seal the section off and dump her into space. You can't win out number 10,000 to one.
I'm baaaaaaackYou remember the Reavers? You remember what she was about to do after she killed them all?
Dimensional Shift involving Hayate, then Diabolic Emission. How would you like a Sphere Of Annihilation inside your ship?
I think I have the advantage when it comes to firepower per crew member.
Avatar SourceWell, thanks to its captain's skills, the Battle 7 can do something that no other battleship of its size can do, firmly giving it the edge in combat.
It can dodge.
Also, uh, yeah, Wave-Motion Gun and an uncountable amount of both anti-matter and regular missiles (it's not called the Macross Missile Massacre for nothing!) before we even go into the VFs (space fighter jets that turn into robots~! ^_^).
...Just be thankful Max has to captain the ship and Milia has to take care of City 7. Because if either of them got in the cockpit of a VF, well...
...Ahem. Anyways, uh... Hopefully my first post will be done sometime today. Hopefully. >.>
Anyone invading the Cradle would face hell. It's huge, full of mysterious corridors, and those damn gadget drones are probably still around.
Avatar SourceTrust me, I will be considering different foes for each situation.
I think the Typhon's greatest advantage is that it has no windows. No easy way in or out.
I'm right now rolling the dice on if we get involved with Xenomorphs, Reavers, or Orks first

I must say I'm liking your characters more and more deathpigieon.
I just wish you had reacted to the big warship appearing and launching fighters >.>
With the Cradle in the condition it's in, there's no external feeds. Someone's going to have to volunteer to be a tug. :D
Avatar SourceOops. Sorry. Just a moment... And, thanks~!!!~ ^_^

That's a point...
"Yup. That tasted purple."Once the Macross 7 shows up, I'm sure they'd be perfectly happy to lend a hand to the Cradle. Hell, I'm sure they'd let its "crew" shack up in City 7 for a while, although they might take a bit of time getting used to non-micronised Zentradi.
...Speaking of which, gaaah introducing it is harder than I thought. >.<
@Loudead: He asked something else now.
Well, I pretty much nullified the question anyway.
"Yup. That tasted purple."What's a Zentradi?
Avatar SourceI'm most curious how Flanker is going to react (or should I say the Imperials)
Cause at a distance of ten kilometers, that's basicly nose to nose in space terms.
I'm sure you'll do fine Moerin. You know the universe.
I'm more interested in how everyone reacts to the bright multicolored colony ship appearing XD

Zentradi are humanoid aliens who were the antagonists of the original Macross, but after exposure to culture they eventually declared peace and began to coexist with the humans. They look just like humans, only their ears are very slightly pointed (so slightly in fact that a lot of the time you can't even tell really >.>). Oh yeah, and in their natural state they're about 12 meters tall. >.> Most of them underwent the micronisation process so they're the same size as humans, but some are still, uh, that big.
Macross 7 and the Saint's Cradle: oversized space bling.
This group of people includes a child that won't stay one size, someone that can summon a dragon, and Reinforce II. Size is a minor thing.

Avatar SourceSo we only have, what, three ships under a kilometer long?
"Yup. That tasted purple."@Joesolo:
Oh boy... this is going to end badly. The current situation will probably end up being equal parts Enemy Mine and Let's You and Him Fight.
@Super Star Destroyers:
They'd be way, way too powerful for this RP except as a boss fight (and probably a late one at that - and even that scenario is probably stretching it somewhat). They make even regular Star Destroyers look like toys, and that's probably from a good distance away. It doesn't help that certain SSDs have superweapons or otherwise highly destructive ordinance (the Eclipse, anyone?).
@Current discussion of ship strengths and such:
Well, I think the Devastator's able to slug it out with most ships it comes across (turbolasers are nothing to sniff at, and it's a tough old brute). It helps that it carries swarms of TIEs and can put aboard boarding parties, too. However, the bridge is in a fairly vulnerable position, and in the confusion of a chaotic battle it may not be unheard of for intruders to slip past any fighter screens. The fact that only one person aboard has any powers also offsets its' advantages somewhat.
Anyway, I'm trying to figure out how to justify the Devastator's inaction - it's not like Vader is a particularly passive person, after all.
Locking you up on radar since '09...Is it bad that I just imagined Serenity crashing into the Devastator's bridge?
Right, because then you only have to fight 9,700 trained soldiers, plus 40,000 ship crew.
Night all!
