I like that image, but I couldn't find a better quality one. Both of my main sources for Family Guy screencaps just happen to be missing that particular episode ("And the Weiner Is...").
Motion to pull
Not a true demonstration of the trope; re-definition means we need an in-universe example of this.
Seconded. The Family Guy pic seems pretty perfect of this.
"I know where I am, I just don't know where I am in where I am." - MeThirding the pull and seconding the Family Guy pic.
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Another vote for the pull.
Subtle.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Because any example from that comic would be overdoing it, more reason to use a panel from it. Blatant is much better than subtle and barely needs subtext to explain it.
Clock is set. We need to stop dicking around with this one and come to a decision. I still like the Codpiece pics...any one in particular?
The cover — where he's proclaiming "Codpiece is HERE!"
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Caption: "I think I'm supposed to be impressed, but ... I can't stop laughing."
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Not bad...prefer mine.
"Nothing can stop the power of Codpiece!"◊

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. As hilarious as that boxing glove on a spring is, I think the above pic is the clearest.
Anyway, captions. Uh....

No that was a suggestion for a caption to the image in post 14, and a pothole to show it's a quote from the work.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I still like it.
Wow, I was going to suggest Iceland and the Penis Museum from Scandinavia And The World, but that Codpiece guy is hilariously perfect.
Support either 14 or the top panel of 19.

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere. We sure it isn't NSFW to use something that blatantly resembling a penis?
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartTo be Not Safe for Work, it would have to resemble a naked penis.
NSFW means apparently pornographic or gory.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Compensating for Something was recently cleaned up to make it an in-universe only trope and remove all of the instances of tropers just speculating and/or making bad jokes. The current image is of that exact example variety and needs to go. To quote a troper's comment about the image from the trope's discussion page, "It looks more like an old radio antenna than anything else. But nobody's saying the guy was compensating for the bad reception he got from his radio/tv/soundblaster, do they?". I don't have any ideas for a replacement image right now but if I find any I'll let you all know.
Edit: What about this◊ image from Family Guy? I just got it from a quick Google search and it's not a very high quality image. Can anyone find a better version of that image?
