I can see the why and how's.
Also, I've reading stuff from the satirical site ''El Chigüire Bipolar" and they really weren't lying in that they have become seers, they really did predict actions of the Venezuelan Goverment.
Poe's Law at it's depressing finest.

Watch me destroying my countryI dread that we have reached the age when satire and reality are one and the same. Do you think anyone would have seriously thought that a guy with the same kind of bluster as Senator Armstrong would become president of the United States?
Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, maybe we should try to find the absolutes that tie us.Trump wishes he had a tenth the charisma as Armstrong.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Senator Armstrong has the benefit of being a Well-Intentioned Extremist. Trump lacks even that.
Where video-game comparisons are being made, present-day Venezuela is looking eerily like a badly-run game of Tropico, with Maduro being a particularly incompetent El Presidente.
Kind of a shame, really.
I hold the secrets of the machine. It's indeed a shame. All those oil and all the money that come with it never really amount to anything in the end.

I'm not as witty as I think I am. It's a scientifically-proven fact.I'm not even sure about "Well-meaning". Throwing the country back into a dog-eat-dog survival of the fittest Social Darwinism level of FREEDOM isn't very well-meaning.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."I did say Extremist. That's kind of the point. He was warped as fuck, but he genuinely believed he was doing something useful for his country.
Trump and Maduro? Not so much.
I hold the secrets of the machine. You could spin it to Chavez, but let's say that Motive Decay is kind of a constant in our region.
Chavez was like, every online Leftist screaming for revolution, of course it ended on a series of stupid choices.

Watch me destroying my countryYeah, Chavez's shtick could be summed up as 'Stupid idealism', while Maduro is.....just stupid.

Certified: 48.0% West Asian, 6.5% South Asian, 15.8% North/West European, 15.7% English, 7.4% Balkan, 6.6% Scandinavian"Stupid idealism" mixed with "fuck the USA". Maduro has kept the second thing at least.

Disgusted, but not surprised“Fuck AMERICA”...hope they keep buying our oil though.
You know, it would be very ironic if Trump starts to give the green light to alternative/cleaner sources of energy, not out of concern for the environment, but to highlight the “independence” of the USA to foreign energy sources like oil or coal.

Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, maybe we should try to find the absolutes that tie us.I would be actually fine with that, in fact. That's likely the most effective way to kickstar the use of.Green energy.
Please Trump, do it.
Watch me destroying my countryI imagine a fair bit of working with Trump is appealing to his biases and ego enough to prod him in a halfway useful direction.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.The follow up tweet notes Wagner PMC is involved...so...well...fuck.
"You can reply to this Message!"
Wagner was present already. I think the Russians themselves said it's troops recently, and in civvies, so it could be SSO.
Si Vis Pacem, Para PerkeleBut hey, no imperalism guys! I swear!
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Didn't you know? It's only imperialism when it's the USA doing it.
Disgusted, but not surprisedCuban doctors speak about their actions in Venezuela.
So. Cuba does things as outright denying medical helps to members of the opposition and threatening them with literal "join the party or (we let you) die" threats, Dentists ordered to influence the vote of their patients.
Cuban Free Healthcare ain't free.
...as the Chinese America Philosopher M84 said, Disgusted but not suprised.
Edited by KazuyaProta on Mar 25th 2019 at 8:58:38 AM
Watch me destroying my countryYou gotta feel for those doctors whose own government is forcing them to betray the Hippocratic Oath. Note that this was something that started with Chavez and merely got worse with Maduro.
And yeah, I'm not surprised. Even the article expresses that sentiment.
Oh, and this bit in particular pissed me off:
Just try to imagine all the ways that went horribly wrong.

Disgusted, but not surprisedNuff said.
How Barrio Adentro wrecked the Venezuelan healthcare system.
Tldr. Barrio Adentro was created to adress Venezuelan healthcare issues but ended up becoming a Poor Man's Substitute for the actual Hospitals healthcare system.
They literally did the classical latinoamerican meme of "the robes make the doctor".
And yeah. That's a lot of danger. In the best case they just receted Paracetamol randomly. And that's the best
Free healthcare ain't free—Cuba.
It was also the project that cemented the relationship between Venezuela and Cuba, paving the way for the pervasive penetration of the Cuban government into the Venezuelan State.
Ah Cuba, we always ignore how you're to blame as much as Chavez himself.
Edited by KazuyaProta on Mar 25th 2019 at 9:38:49 AM
Watch me destroying my countryAs raziel365 noted, Cuba even served as the model on which Chavez based his Venezuelan socialist system.
Disgusted, but not surprised
Yeah...in a way that still does way more damage to Venezuela. It's not a good thing when the biggest customer of the thing that makes up 90% of what you sell decides to boycott you.
Like I said, fucking up is Trump's thing.
