Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! I'm editing this OP and pinning it to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.

x4 It's not like those two aspects of his characterization contradict each other. Sinister can be campy and fun to watch while also being a Complete Monster that represents all the worst aspects of Victorian England.
Fingers crossed nothing comes of this madness… Perlmutter is a vindictive creep.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I know Marvel is far from perfect but it really irks me that there are still suits out there that are convinced that anything that isn't about straight white males won't be profitable, and will go out of their way to make that a reality.
It's a bit amusing that the guy who runs the biggest superhero multimedia franchise out there right now has a real-life archnemesis.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. And people are waiting for the part where he gets a shot at punching his nemesis into the pavement.
Wake me up at your own risk.Doubtful that's gonna happen. Feige isn't the kind of person who goes out of his way to fire shots at people, especially in public. The only time he's ever done something like that is when he announced Edward Norton wasn't joining the cast of The Avengers.
Plus, Perlmutter's basically defeated at this point. This angry tantrum he's throwing in a desperate attempt to get back control is just that: an angry tantrum. He doesn't have any real power anymore, and he's limited to cheering this Nelson Peltz dude from the sidelines. Bob Iger called him out on his bullshit years ago, and now he's stewing in hateful rage.
Trust no one.Humorously, in Immortal Thor, we learn that CEO of Roxxon Dario Agger owns Marvel now

Forever liveblogging the AvengersNelson Peltz also really has no skin in the game either. Remember how he bought his daughter the role of Katara in the Shyamalan Last Airbender movie.
The cold never bothered me anywayOut of the blue hypothetical, who would make up the roster of a MCU Midnight Sons team?
Moonkight, Werewolf By Night, Man Thing and Elsa Bloodstone seem to be the obvious ones as they would struggle to have follow ups elsewhere in the MCU.
If Blade's film ever gets made, him for sure.
Both Wanda and Strange seem like obvious choices (if Wanda is alive) but you probably couldn't have them both.
It might also be one of the rare opportunities to follow up on Elektra from Daredevil S2/defenders.
It probably would be a rare opportunity to introduce Ghost Rider, once Marvel decide if they're going to use the Agents of SHIELD version or not.
I think I’d prefer Wanda for the group
Dr Strange will maybe get another movie and she probably won’t
Forever liveblogging the AvengersMoon Knight would also do well since he is a hunter of the creatures of the night.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."More Elsa is never a bad thing.
Mileena MadnessIf FATWS, Black Widow, Wakanda Forever, and Brave New World are setting up the Thunderbolts, and Shang-Chi, Hawkeye, Multiverse of Madness, Ms. Marvel, and Quantumania are setting up the Young Avengers, I think it stands reason that Moon Knight, Werewolf by Night, and Blade are setting up the Midnight Sons.
Dr. Strange is rumored to have an arc focusing on his morality and sense of right and wrong, with attention being given to lots of other Dr. Stranges in the multiverse being antagonists.

The Protomen enhanced my life.I'd really like to see Elsa, Jack and Ted become a horror protagonist trio that tries to help Non Malicious Monsters escape or fight back against more evil monster hunters. Maybe have them fight some more evil monsters too, like vampires or zombies.
Trust no one.So we're still on the Multiverse of Madness train with Strange I guess.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Oh, that's slightly disappointing if true. I was hoping future movies would actually delve more into Dr. Strange mythos, rather than just using him as a vehicle for even more stories about multiverse doubles.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yeah. It's definitely strange that they aren't using Stephen to delve more into the magical side of the MCU.
Trust no one.Thinking about it this sounds exactly like what already happened with Multiverse of Madness so that probably discredits it because why would they do the same story with Strange again?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Too many Rick & Morty writers of the MCU!
Obscure Reference: "It can sometimes knock out opponents with the shock created by breaching and crashing its big body onto the water. Its ONE guy or two who happens to write for Rick and Morty, sheesh!
New theme music also a boxI think people have latched on to the one writer they've heard of (Loveness) as his name really stands out
New theme music also a box
Apparently, according to this tweet, one of Peltz and Perlmutter’s goals with the board thing is to get Feige fired from Marvel.
