Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! I'm editing this OP and pinning it to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.

From what I understand that was them giving out about a lot of the Executive Meddling the movie faced or was going to face, and considering that they dropped out of a planned live-action series and founded a studio to control the property, they haven't been given a reason to change their minds.
At least Loki was just trying to make himself look good. Getting Matt Damon to play him certainly helped.

Something else, which I forgot to add, although of course, the play is reflecting Loki's fake Heroic Sacrifice in The Dark World, it also seems to foreshadow his actual death in Infinity War.
Every once in a while I fruitlessly hope that they shake up the Sinister Six by having a member that's a surprise.
Like Tombstone. I would lose it if Tombstone was in Spidey 3.
(Plus it would give us an in for the Janice Lincoln Beetle)
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Well, if Disney needed an excuse to dump Cruella to Disney+ and have Black Widow take its place, now they do.
F9 is moving up one month to June 25. This is primarily due to overseas markets taking longer to reopen (the F&F series has always performed best overseas).
"The devil's got all the good gear. What's God got? The Inspiral Carpets and nuns. Fuck that." - Liam GallagherF9 is Fast and the furious 9,correct?
New theme music also a boxCorrect.
"The devil's got all the good gear. What's God got? The Inspiral Carpets and nuns. Fuck that." - Liam GallagherMore rumors! This time the title of a planned X-men movie is simply The Mutants, Stan Lee’s original name for the team.
It's the Illumnerdi again.

I thought Stan's original name for the X-Men was The Merry Mutants.
God, I'd give anything for that to be the final name.
It was one or the other. His editor countered that no one knew what a mutant was. Stan said he didn’t know what an X-Men was either, but we all know who won that argument.
Marauders makes so much more sense now
Well Wanda Vision's over, so onto Doctor Strange 2 for Wanda's next adventure.
Pretty easy to guess how America Chavez will factor into the plot. I guess while Doc and/or Wanda are lost in the lanes between realms they encounter America who acts as a guide to help them where they need to go.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Picturing the Sorcerer Supreme being bossed around by a 14 year old is most amusing to me.
And who better to help Wanda find her kids than someone whose world was literally created by one of them?
Whelp! I guess I officially have no excuse NOT to see WandaVision in one go.
For some dumb reason, I keep getting cold feet about watching it. Probably because Netflix got me accustomed to bingeing. The Falcon & The Winter Soldier is kicking off in two weeks, so I better get cracking.
Hey, at least is a easy binge, as each episode clocks around 30 mins.
Enjoy it, is a great series.
Are they a reliable source?
So, when does Falcon start, by the way?
Wake me up at your own risk. Not really.
In two weeks.
Kinda. It's one of those websites that can report anything if they heard someone sneeze and it vaguely sounds like something, but they do have quite the track record. Regarding Marvel, they did were the first ones to day that America Chavez was going to ve in Multiverse of Madness. They recently made a Silk report on the lead actress, which seemed to be corroborated by other sites.
In the Power Rangers fandom that site is infamous for it's accurate leaks that sometimes tend to make certain part of the fandom mad.

I was reading some Power Pack comics online and wonder what the news is on the property? How would you like to see Power Pack in the MCU?
I no longer edit on TV Tropes but will continue as an occasional forum poster.Animated tie-in
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI remember there was some buzz ages ago about a potential MCU Power Pack film, and I'd be down to see it someday come to fruition. The more I hear about the property, the more it sounds like it'd make an interesting movie.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Sounds like it be a fun cartoon.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Power Pack in the MCU would be really cool, but an animated special would work way better because they're dealing with kids.
I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Snarks in one of the spacefaring movies, though.
Ember Island Players is especially intestering in the meta commentary and jokes can be used to also describe the later live action film. It's like the writers predicted that mess in advance.
