Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! I'm editing this OP and pinning it to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.

Possible.
Honestly, if they used Hellfire in a "logical" way, people like GR, Daimon, and Satana Hellstorm would probably be able to kill all heroes and villains that have souls with a flick of their wrist.
"The Ghost Rider that showed up in AOS could probably take the Hulk. There was literally nothing that could stop him, not even going to Hell."
But he would not do it because he is stronger, but because of the nature of his powers.
What Ghost Rider uses is what is known as Hax.

I'd actually argue Immortal Hulk is stronger, or at least in the same league, given what he casually did to Thor, who was always a more even match beforehand.
Also, I didn't specify stronger, I said he makes him look like childs play, which he does.
He is certainly the most dangerous Hulk so far.

Immortal Hulk is really good
Forever liveblogging the Avengers....
So, he's unkillable, then.
"Can be killed for a little while but then just undies and comes back like it didn't happen" feels like a Distinction Without a Difference to me.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.And how is this character's resistance to Hax?
Would Ghost Rider be able to defeat him with his penance stare?
It is a plausible distinction, though. It's the difference between Nigh-Invulnerable and Resurrective Immortality.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."It's also a huge plot point in the comic — every time Bruce Banner dies (as himself or the Hulk), he goes to Hell and finds himself looking at a "green door," but never passing through. And then he comes back to life.
Yeah, the Immortal Hulk is a weird comic and it's also a Cosmic Horror Story involving "the One Below All." I highly, highly recommend reading it, especially the "Hulk in Hell" storyline. Which contains Puck from Alpha Flight's most awesome Badass Boast:

So, the difference between Gogenzaka and Yaiba from Yu-gi-oh Arc-V!. Gogenzaka's monsters won't die and Yabia's monsters keep coming back for more Synchro summons.

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. Is there any good hulk antagonist? because I know shit about it.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"The Hulk's greatest nemesis is himself. (PROFOUND DEEPNESS)
Wait, no, he has a bunch of villains, never mind. Fun fact, Wolverine was originally a Hulk villain.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.The Leader hasn’t been used yet. Set up but not used
Forever liveblogging the Avengers> he goes to Hell and finds himself looking at a "green door," but never passing through. And then he comes back to life.
Imagine putting that in a Marvel movie somewhere.
New theme music also a boxMaybe X-23 would show up since logan is dead
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"He’s not dead anymore.
Comics. Death is something you walk off.
Very few of Hulk's major antagonists are in the MCU yet, so we have that to look forward to in the She-Hulk show.
The Leader is the most obvious, especially since the film set him up.
A lot of Hulk's mid-level enemies are more mook level, though, like most of Iron Man's rogues gallery. There's a ton of "random person/think/object got hit with gamma radiation, turning them into what is essentially the Hulk except his mutation does this gimmicky thing instead." There's a looooot of Hulk enemies that have basically the same powers as him with just a slight difference (again, a lot like Iron Man).
This ultimately means most of them are best discerned by what you can do with their character rather than their abilities. And, yeah, a lot of them are made to be minions.
Outside of that group, though, Absorbing Man already appeared in Agents of SHIELD but I would be down for them reintroducing him somehow. He's great.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Speaking of She-Hulk, if we do get the “Big Green Ally Mc Beal” take, can they do the case where she has to box the Champion of the Universe? Because that was...amazing.
Hulk has a pretty subpar rogues gallery for a character with such a respected history, his most interesting foes being The Leader (due the brains vs brawn aspect Foil thing), The One Below All (due the whole Eldritch Abomination leanings) and my personal favorite...

...Maestro, who's a enlightened tyrant Hulk from a dark universe.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Ooh, if you want to keep AOS in-canon, that's gonna be hard to do. Since Creel was absorbed by Talbolt... and then Talbolt got tossed into space and died.
Eh, have them find Talbot in space and then Creel separates himself somehow.
Or, since the last season of AOS is coming up, perhaps they'll bring Creel back themselves. They do like the character.
Well, that puts her arrival in Endgame in a different light. She wasn't pissed because of the snap, she was pissed because Fury has been constantly calling her only for the emergency to already be over when she gets there!
Anyway, I do feel like Hulk was done dirty in the last two Avengers movies. He got his ass kicked to show off how tough Thanos is, and unlike everyone else, never really got revenge. Yeah, he did undo the snap, but that's not exactly the same as him getting to rematch Thanos and actually put up a good fight. It would have been easy to explain, too... Have him become stronger with anger, and since his friends and loved ones died in the snap he has a lot of anger, and/or have him become a more skilled fighter now that he's smart Hulk.
I also think smart Hulk was poorly handled. It's like the Hulk we knew, who was finally getting some character development, was just deleted and replaced with Banner.

I missed the part where that's my problem. The original deleted scene showed Hulk and Banner settling their differences in the Hulkbuster as they are being pummeled by Black Obsidian, and that's when they became Smart Hulk.
And Smart Hulk demonstrated his Genius Bruiser status by beating up Black Obsidian then latch him onto a flying Hulkbuster gauntlet.
He talked to Black Widow of his new form, Thanos arrived to Earth and of course, Hulk failed to defeat Thanos again.
I actually think merged Hulk/Bruce should have been Bruce's regular human body with Hulk strength and his mind
