"Well... kendo is actually the sport, I would get in trouble if I started teaching kenjutsu..." Nekomi said nervously, placing the bundle of shinai on her desk and finally putting on her glasses, "I guess they're close enough, so... everybody is interested?"

Any more questions about what she was—especially if she was a cosplayer—were conspicuously ignored. The fact that her ears and tail didn't stay remotely still kind of ruled out the cosplay option, anyway.

As Fuuko finished her chant, space distorted and she vanished entirely from the alley, leaving no trace of the battle apart from one collapsed fire escape.

Landa sighed. "Kenjutsu would be the useful one." She perked up and smiled again. "But Kendo's still better than Maths or Japanese!"

Nanoha nodded. She'd always been a little curious about doing kendo. Not that she hadn't already done some much more serious use of kendo-related skills, but the sport itself sounded kind of interesting...

"Yes, sensei."

"Eh? Oh, um, n-no, you don't need to help, thank you," Aiko said, scrambling to collect her papers. "Um... Oh, Kohaku-kun, Hisui-kun, good morning!"

Aiko, having managed to collect her papers, stood up... only to lose seven of them before she could set them down.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

Michiru finally woke up. Groggily, she said, "Hello, Esteemed Teacher."
A yawn escaped her. "Why - why are your papers on the floor?"

Aqua tilted her head a little as she watched her erratic teacher miserably attempting to keep the papers together. "Hm. Okay sensei, you can let any of us know if you need help later on." She then stood up and proceeded to walk back to her seat.

Jail silently arrived and took her place earlier, absent-mindedly peering out of the window. Kendo discussion eventually attracted her attention, though.

"That would be really interesting, sensei!" she cheerfully supported the idea.

With a little sigh, Jack stood and walked over to help once again collect Aiko's fallen papers.

"Sensei," she said quietly, "It is all right for you to relax a little. We trust you to be a good teacher. There is no cause for anxiety."

"Kendo?" said Kana, who up until now had been silent. "This should be fun. Can we also learn Mugai Ryu?"

Gunner knelt down and picked up the other seven papers the sensei dropped, only wishing to do her duty as a model student and help out the instructor. "Here you are, Aiko-seongsangnim."

"Um... I only know how to use swords. Can everyone stand back, please? I want to give a little demonstration," the teacher asked, removing her glasses once again and moving desks out of the way so that there was sufficient space for people to both see and not risk being hit or, since Nekomi appeared to be using her actual swords, sliced up. The end demonstration was... difficult to follow. If there had been an actual opponent there, it might have made more sense, but since the opponent would have minor lacerations covering their body it was for the better that there was no-one there. Two things were clear: the teacher was very fast with those things and extremely practised.

Suiko's response was to tilt her head oddly, then creep out of the class when nobody was looking at her.

Tetris'd

The umbrella carrying figure, seemingly tired of waiting for the Champions to come to her, instead appeared behind them, sighing.

"Well, I guess I should explain what you have to do. I shall be on top of that skyscraper. You have to get up there. The falling blocks are indestructible, so you're going to have to climb on top of them. Oh, and when the enemies show up, they're indestructible too. I'll leave you to work out how to deal with them. Good luck~"

With that, the enigmatic female figure disappeared to... well, presumably the top. And the blocks began to fall...

The figure caused Matt to stop moving away. He was glad to get some direction but one thing bothered him.

"Indestructable. These blocks and the enemies we meet will have no Hit Points, that sucks."

Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.

Landa, with Garland's millennia of combat experience somewhere in her mind, was able to follow the teachers movements and quickly imagine the effect on an opponent. Followed by ways she might avoid or block, and then counter, such a move; although she couldn't help but imagine ways to do that with her usual, massively oversized, weapon.

All this strategy was accompanied by a strange feeling of newfound respect for the teacher. Landa was certain she had respected her before, but that was just as an elder... this was the respect one warrior had for the skill of another.

Aqua turns her head slightly to see the two girls helping the teacher. Well, one of them was...hm who are they? Wait! That one with the papers is Gunner. So who's the girl talking to the teacher? Man, it's gonna be hard for me to recognize any of the guys that were turned into girls. "What!? How does that work!? How could boys turn into girls?"

In their collective mind, Xigbar was rolling around on the floor, clutching his sides laughing, Hahahahaha!! Oh man, that's rich! That's right you don't know as much as I do, but from what I heard, it's happened a few times before. Curiosity getting the better of her she asks, "Really? How often?" I don't know, but it's never fun for a guy being turned into a girl. Which is strange, since I'm stuck in your body and not in a female version of my own. Speaking of which, if I can ask one of them about the incident yesterday, maybe we can figure out what's going on. "Good idea. Maybe once lunch starts, we can ask one of them."

Nanoha watched, making sure she was far back enough that the blades couldn't hit. The teacher was good at this, even better then her brother and sister!

"Th-thanks," Aiko said, standing up and taking the papers again. Homeroom, then biology right after... and she hadn't even finished her lesson for the day. This... this was going to be rough... and it was only her second day, and...

Aiko shut her eyes tightly as she set her papers down.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

Skyla sighed.

"Indestructible enemies, huh?" Skyla's military mind quickly went to work on that. So, this would mostly be stealth and speed... Makes sense...

Snake Eyes was confused.
Until the point the blocks began falling and realized that he was now in Tetris.
Jumping on top of a grounded L piece, he carefully but swiftly made his way to the base of the tower, upon which he began jumping and dodging between the pieces.

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!

Chun-Li stepped back as well, knowing how dangerous martial arts and swords could be. Chun-Li clapped at the demostration, rather impressed by the skill of the teacher with the blade. Again, Chun-Li wished she could use her powers and weren't this small to truly test the teacher's ability to fight.

Wizard Needs Food Badly

The door to the elementary classroom came open abruptly, with none of the usual polite knocking that would have preceded it.

Rey entered, wearing his backpack, the long curly hair pulled back in a neat ponytail on top and hanging loose and nicely combed at the back. He smiled in what seemed like genuine embarrassment as he came in, bowing slightly to the teacher. "I'm sorry I'm late, sensei," he said softly, straightening. "I missed my ride to class this morning. I hope I haven't missed anything."

I don't get it... Something's different about her today...

"Yup. That tasted purple."

Terrice might have offered to give loli-sensei a hand but she said she didn't need one and some of her classmates had helped her anyway so she just sat beside Aqua wearing her sweater. Terrice didn't recognize her in the slightest but she was kind of odd looking so she was probably a champion. Or a fashion designer but they were harmless.

While the teacher was busy gathering her papers Terrice slipped a piece of paper of her own to Aqua. It was one of her copies of the note Joan had given her.

"Hold onto that." She breathed in Aqua's direction; "Don't read it out loud until after school."

Aqua raised an eyebrow at the statement, but nonetheless complied to the girl's request. She tucked the note into her pocket, curious as to what it contained. "Who's she? Could she be one of the people you mentioned Xigbar?" I don't know. I think she knew we were out of place among the other students here. It'll be interesting to see his/her reaction once we talk somewhere else. I'm wondering if there's a way to create some sort of holographic image of me so they can recognize me. "I guess we'll find out, won't we?" Yeah.

Unlike the others, the Gunner wasn't that well acquainted with Rey and thus knew nothing of how the masked wrestler normally acted. Smiling to Rey, she waved greetings before waiting for the class to start.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.

Skyla looked up as she noticed the pieces falling. Seeing Snake Eyes start jumping from piece to piece really made her feel slow, especially since she could only jump so far. Making her way up an "L" piece, she focused on the task at hand. No need to panic, just focus.
