Wasn't that also in the anime?
Actually no. J never got a hammer. Try playing SRW Alpha games or W. If you see J wielding a hammer, lemme know.
Oh wait, the "anime" was actually from that PS 1 game cutscnee, my bad.
Hmmm... Anyway, I start to wonder on how they will handle the Magic Knights' attacks. They might not have much unless they start integrating some additional spells from either the SNES or Saturn games. Here's how I predict it:
- Umi/Selece:
- Melee attack (Sword)
- (Not sure how this is named, but let's call this 'Water Blast'. It's basically the first thing Selece did in Episode 10 when he materialized in his mecha form. Put both fists together a la Zeorymer, and then there was a blue blast around him that drove away Ascot's monster)
- Sapphire Whirlwind
- Water Dragon
- Ice Blade (Not present immediately)
- Total attacks: 5 (but 4, if the second attack is not included)
- Fuu/Windam:
- Melee Attack (Sword)
- (Not sure how this is named, but let's call this 'Wind Blast'. It's basically the first thing Windam did in Episode 15 when he materialized in his mecha form. Just glare/move hand, and then there is a green blast around him that drove away Innouva)
- Binding Wind (Paralyze enemy, then slash)
- Emerald Typhoon
- Emerald Hurricane (Not present immediately)
- Total attacks: 5 (but 4, if the second attack is not included)
- Hikaru/Rayearth:
- Melee attack (Sword)
- (Not sure how this is named, but let's call this 'Fire Blast'. It's basically the first thing Rayearth did in Episode 18 when he materialized in his mecha form. Fire Geyser out of nowhere to make his presence known in front of the assaulting Zagato)
- Ruby Lightning
- Flame Arrow
- Total attacks: 4 (but 3, if the second attack is not included)
Of course they have a combo attack when attacking one enemy together: Light Spiral. And also merge with probably two simple, but utterly hax power attacks.
But I wonder if Hikaru can afford an extra spell similar to Umi and Fuu... if we just discount each girls' second attacks...
Currently rewatching Rayearth here...
We have info on Super Robot Wars DD's Daedalion and Dido.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. We gonna get a new info at December 11th... or so they say.
Double post. Turns out, the info is probably for X Omega and DD.
X Omega gets... Uchuu Senkan Tiramisu, Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative and... Vandread? MAN! Of all places to debut!
And finally, Daimidaler the Sound Robot. Wat.
Also T news:
- JP Release Date being March 20th 2019.
- It will come with Premium Anime Song & Sound version (what was that again in V and X?)
- Early purchase gives you an early access of the Original unit in Gespenst. (Looks like it's treated like Masaki in X)
- Custom Soundtrack is PS 4 exclusive.
DD doesn't exactly play like a traditional SRW, but it doesn't play like X-Omega either.

The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. How much extra? I almost never import anything, but Bebop man.
Well that and the odds of this getting a domestic release are still zero even with Toonami’s programming head a massive Bebop fan.
Ugh! I am started to get annoyed to no end that X-Omega is getting a bunch of new series! Its like the SRW-equivalent of a character being an Assist Trophy in Smash Bros.
As for Daimidaler... I am actually not sure if I ever want to see that series show up in a normal game, considering that in that series. The titular mecha has a rather questionable power source.
Wait a moment... One of the songs in the Premium Anime Song & Sound edition for T is... Can't Stop from Getter Robo Daikessen! That obscure PS 1 game that is basically SRW-Getter Robo Only-edition!

"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.Wait, WHAT?! Seriously?!
On that note, since the Gematsu article is taking forever to update their article with the list, here's the Siliconera article with a screencap. Anybody who can read Japanese figure out which songs are on?
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.I'll give it a try, the songs that are written in japanese. as far as I can translate or recognize are...
HEATS-Getter Robo Armageddon.
Can't Stop-Getter Robo Daikessen.
Mazinger Z/INFINITY Version-Mazinger Z Infinity.
I am/Ore Wa Great Mazinger-Great Mazinger.
2 songs of Arcadia Of My Youth SSX, the first one I can't quite translate it. While the 2nd one is Harlock No Ballad
Yuzurenai Negai and Hikari To Kage Wo Dakishimeta Mama-Magic Knight Rayearth.
"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.You might want to list off the whole list at the moment. I REALLY wanna know if they had Flying In The Sky
This Gematsu article has the list of songs from the Premium Anime Song version.
https://gematsu.com/2018/12/super-robot-wars-t-launches-march-20-2019-in-japan
And yes, Flying In The Sky is there.
"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.The Premium has Real Folk Blues.
The English version BETTER have a Premium sound edition.
You know... If Tokusatsu series showed up in a normal SRW game, one that I would love to see is...
The Japanase Spiderman! Because that would really come out of left field.
"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.The English version hasn't had a premium sound version so far and I honestly don't see that changing anytime soon.
That’s stupid! You’d make so much more money! Like, I will give them money.

I followed Bamco SEA Twitter and... they will release the English version simultaneously!
So, if/when Guy and Maito get their own combination attack, how much will Hiyama scream and will people be able to take the hotbloodedness?
Wake me up at your own risk. Two words for ya.
Licensing. Fees.
Even if it's being released in South-East Asia it's still another country and needs to be relicensed for it. And Sony Music Japan is kinda notorious for being arses when it comes to fees.
Enough to transcend humanity and no.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. There is a fear that the translation quality of T will see a drop because it will be simultaneous release. What do you think?
You know, I'm still annoyed that Endless Frontier Exceed doesn't have a localization.
The Fan-translation is still going slowly as well. I've been curious about the game for a long time, so I'd love to see it.
One Strip! One Strip!
@dood9780 BX listed The King of Braves GaoGaiGar: Blockaded Numbers as part of its roster. Since it's not on the roster for T, I doubt anything from that game'll make an appearance. And even then, the only thing from that game that was featured was the "Silverion Hammer" combination attack between GoldyMarg and King J-Der.
