I'm not complaining, mind you. I really like King Bob-omb. Ahahaha.
Just missing a few of the classics in there. But they're probably unlockable or being saved for DLC.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Nintendo is always weird about Mario game rosters. It's like they refuse to have all the mainstays in one game, so they have to swap some out for oddball picks every time.
I missed the part where that's my problem.Gotta respect Chuck's superior golf skills.
So he plays football golf! XD
The Protomen enhanced my life.×3
I don't think this is the whole roster though.
Happy to see King Bob-Omb made the cut.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Having actually watched the trailer by now, I must say the game looks extremely promising.
I've always liked the Mario Golf series (despite not actually liking the actual golf sport, but what can ya do), but they're taking it in a very interesting direction. It's like classic Mario Golf got into a high-speed car crash with Mario Kart and the old RPG-lite portable titles.
Seems like a lot of fun. Thought I'd never see the Mario sports series do RPG elements again.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."I absolutely loved Toadstool Tour back in the day, and this seems to be shaping up quite nicely. Looking forward to it.
Can we please just talk about how good Super Mario RPG's soundtrack is?
Yoshi’s New Island aside, Mario always has great music.
It's been 3000 years…You mean you don't like this masterpiece?
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."I admit that NYI's music is extremely difficult to defend (and mind you, I don't plan to even try). However, I do recall one track that I liked: Gargantua Blaarg. Its second half brought me memories from the World 8 theme of Minigame Coaster from Mario Party 2 (still one of my all-time favorite Mario tracks).
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300Kamek's theme from New Island is good.
Trans rights are human rights. Not all of YNI's music is terrible. This was good enough to make it into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
It just felt that at times they tried really hard to copy Yoshi's Story and really, really missed the mark.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Always felt like they wanted that lightning to strike again like it did with Yoshi's Island but could never pull it off despite retracing it over and over.
That music in New Island is like the music form of Baby Mario crying.
-Witty line-Though, I will admit, I do get some ironic amusement from New Island's "level clear" song.

Ever wanted to see the most inexplicably horrifying intro to a game ever? The problem is Artoon just aren't good developers. Yoshi's Island DS was mediocre to just okay, and Yoshi's New Island is one of the worst Nintendo games ever published.
Yoshi's Woolly World is really good and about as close a successor to the SNES original as you're gonna find. And I say that as someone whose favorite game of all time is the SNES original.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'm honestly kind of impressed that there's stil no Switch version of Woolly World.
Ever wanted to see the most inexplicably horrifying intro to a game ever? One thing I'll give the Yoshi's Island sequels over the original, though - no need to collect ALL the collectibles in one run anymore. You wanna do different runs for flowers, red coins and stars and still keep everything, go ahead!
"Leftover items still have value!"They should change the formula if they're gonna do that...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I think it's unfair to say anything Artoon made was bad, considering Artoon closed down in 2010 and didn't actually develop Yoshi's New Island. It was developed by Arzest, which is technically the successor company, but many things can change when something like that happens.
I just think it's more of an issue of trying to desperately ape the original Yoshi's Island instead of letting the Yoshi series just evolve naturally. The original was by all accounts a great game, and a direct sequel or clone is likely to fall short. More independent games in the series such as Story or Woolly World have been much better received.
I'd put Yoshi's Universal Gravitation in there, too, which was developed by Artoon. Nobody seems to remember it, but as a kid I rather enjoyed it. Fun gimmick.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."I really liked crafted world. The graphics were amazing and I really appreciated the games arts and crafts aesthetic. I still haven't beaten Kamek as the True Final Boss.
You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midWell, I just opened 10 of the Series 2 Lego blind bags I ordered online (since they're apparently so high demand in my area that I almost never see them in store). Not sure what's more impressive: That I got exactly one duplicate of each of five, or that none of them were the 3 I already had.
Edit: I just noticed, there are 5 different terrain plates for Lego Mario as of the latest expansions, and they're divided evenly between the 10 possible blind bag characters (so 2 get grass, 2 get sand, for example). The five that I got twice each had a different terrain. This almost feels intentional.

SoundCloudCrafted World definitely feels solid for the most part, albeit not quite as strong as Yoshi's Island or Woolly World. Some of the gimmicky levels land, others don't, and the level design lacks the tighter design of YI or WW, but the depth there makes it worthwhile going through.
Still waiting for a Legion of Losers movie...Loved both Woolly and Crafted World (and still gotta go back to beating the final level on the latter...) Really fun games with nice aesthetics
"Leftover items still have value!"
King Bomb Bom has gotten popularity bost lately.
