I admit, I never liked most of the Peachette theories/memes, but the rise of Bowsette(I guess that's the name?) in turn just makes me laugh. Especially because:
I don't know where it came from, but I'm seeing more fanart of that fan character than I thought I would... from both sides of the pond evennote . Last time I saw a boom like this was for Omelette, which wasn't that long ago.
Anyways, the recent focus on Bowsette sort of turned around my view on some of the Peachette stuff, so I guess I'm all for it. I kind of wonder how the folks at Nintendo feel about this being the consequence of them trying to make Peach playable in New Super Mario Bros in such a roundabout way.
Still legitimately looking forward to the New Super Mario Bros Switch game all the same, especially since I like both Peach and Toadette and found the Toadette exclusive power-up to be more cute than anything. Besides, I never did finish the Wii U version.
