Eh I don't got no problem with that. The Nebulous Criminal Conspiracy in Yakuza 4 was just as good as the one in Yakuza 3. Shit if anything it was better.

According to some guy on Youtube Atlus MAY have saved Ryu Ga Gotoku 5 and we'll see in America sometime in the future. Though, don't hold me onto that happening. Speculation.

Christ, I can't wait for this to eventually come out stateside.

I hope that both this and Persona 5 actually come out this year.

I've only played 2 games in the series: 3 and 4. I really liked them both. I finished 3's main quest years ago and am recently working towards 100% completion on 4 since it was made free on Playstation Plus last month. Sure enough, I feel like I'll be busy until 5 comes stateside in the summer.

I really hope Yakuza 5 comes to Southeast Asia PSN. Sure, you guys gets all the cool stuff first, but it would suck if it didn't.

Also, I want to make an Awesome Music page for Yakuza, but I dunno how.

There's a youtuber who has ALL the soundtracks for ALL the games (well, the one where Kiryu is playable anyway, Kenzan and Ishin counts cuz they use his character model) so I'm baffled at it's shortness.

I plan to add all of the soundtracks from the Ryu ga Gotoku games. Not sure about Kurohyou, but the opening for 2 kicks ass.

Also, if it's alright, can I... change the links or even edit the sentences? The first one has the boss theme of Nishiki, but not the name, For Who's Sake, on it. As for the links, of course it would be the same song, but the info from the video would be more complete.

So apparently Yakuza 5 was quietly released on Tuesday. Man, I cannot wait to get home and DL it. I wish they notified me or something... I'd preordered it months ago, and as of last month it definitely still had a December 31 release date.

I'm really sad that it's not available on Asian PSN. At all.

I hope it comes out soon, but I'm feeling doubtful...

Sadly, I don't have much time to play, so I'm still only on Haruka's part II. Man, T-Set's a pair of bitches. Also I hate the gulf between "Normal" and "Hard" Dance Battles... a Normal one is basically impossible for me to take damage other than a Heat action. A Hard one is one I genuinely can't win. It's a crazy jump.

Reaaaaaaaaaaaally curious as to if/how Haruka's story is going to fit into the main plot about the Tojo clan. I honestly can't see how it could, but somehow I doubt it'll be unrelated.

Gotta say though, all the celebrity cameos are really jarring. Not... actually knowing any of them, it's just weird how each segment is taking time out to introduce at least one character who is obviously famous that I genuinely couldn't care less about.

Hoo boy. I hate Shinada's combat. Just not enjoyable.

Ironically, Shinada actually wound up among my richest protagonists thanks to getting lucky with Platinum Plates. After Taiga, of course, who just made infinite money hunting.

Damn, the story of 6 seems like a rehash of 1 with Haruka as the mother.

"Secret baby" seems a bit too soap opera-y, even for Yakuza.

My money's on that baby not even being hers, but she claimed it was to protect it. Yes, that makes her Ned Stark from Game Of Thrones.

I hear 6 is meant to be Kiryu's final chapter, so maybe it being a rehash of 1 with Haruka as the mother is a form of Book Ends / Call-Back?

God, I wish they'd release Yakuza 1+2 on the Vita. That seems like a no-brainer to me.

With Yakuza 0 out, and it seeing a big shift in media attention compared to the rest of the series, should we make our own thread for 0, or just continue using this one?

Because i've been playing the game since Tuesday, and it's completely got me hook, line and sinker. I haven't lost this much time to a game since Dark Souls III, and even that didn't make me want to keep playing as much as 0.

Yakuza Zero is phenomenal and I am totally on board with all of it. I'm sucked into the story, the sidequests and mini-games are both the dumbest and coolest thing, I cannot wait to reach the part where I get Kiryu's stupid white suit, and it is all fun.

That being said, why did they replace the theme song? I wanna know this, Bubble was phenomenal, and the one they replaced it with was just OK.

I wish I knew this would be out this soon. I passed on a PS 4 on Black Friday even though there was a great deal on the grounds of "okay, it's a great deal, but there are literally no games I'm interested in."

... and then Let It Die suddenly drops for free and this quietly pops in and now I'm here with egg on my face.
