It'd be cool if we got an RG Hyaku Shiki. Especially if they made (likely P-Bandai) versions of the variants (Kai, MP Kai, etc).

Having read most of Rebellion I'd be down for a version of the GP 01 that works like the F90. Release the MG basic while releasing packs to do its alt forms. The manga only gave us 3: Chobham Armor, Aquatic, and Full Burning but it'd be cool to have that level of variation for it.

Wasn't expecting this at all given the candy toy guys at Bandai have already been doing a very nice line of GaoGaiGar models through the SMP (shokugan modeling project) line, but guess the Bandai Spirits division branching out into Neon Genesis Evangelion and Super Robot Wars models was just the start.

GaoGaiGar itself is out retail 9/2022 for 6000 yen + tax, and looks like Goldymarg / Goldion Hammer will be a p-bandai release the same month for 4000 yen + tax. Genesic / Final GaoGaiGar is probably my favorite Super Robot, so I'm pretty hyped by this. Will probably pick up GaoGaiGar, GaoFighGar, Genesic / Final, and GaoGaiGo if they end up putting all of them out in the future.

Guess we'll have to wait longer for the next RG gunpla...

Weird, apparently like the the 1/35 Lancelot Albion kit... for whatever reason RG Goldymarg is going to be retail for the US despite being p-bandai for Japan. Makes things easier for me (I can stop keeping an eye on P-Bandai US for a while) but I honestly don't understand the rhyme or reason to Bandai and/or Bluefin Brands making some of these non-gundam kits retail and others not:

In other news Witch from Mercury kits are interesting so far. Bit Iron-Blooded Orphans, bit AGE, bit Reconguista in G. I think I like Berguir-Beu the most so far, though also intrigued to see what kind of add-ons Gundam Aerial will have.

SEED Eclipse 1/100 kits have been quite interesting too. Nice to see a GINN variant.

BigBadToystore usually has P-Bandai stuff on their site to sell (Though the price is obviously jacked up) so it's not unusual for it to be on there. USA Gundam I'm not so sure since I rarely check for P-Bandai stuff there.

Usagundamstore hasn't had anything p-bandai in about 2 years I believe, and yeah, it's exactly because bigbadtoystore jacks up their prices for p-bandai you can tell this is retail not p-bandai. I'd expect it to be $80+ in that case. Seems gundamplanet has preorders up now too at the same price rather than a massively jacked up one, and I'd expect to see it slowly filtering onto a bunch of other hobby shops' pre-orders in the coming months, just like the Lancelot Albion kit did.

So yeah, whatever the explanation for why, these shops aren't getting some kits from p-bandai to resell, Bandai and/or Bluefin are actually releasing this through retail hobby shops in the US. It's hardly a problem, but still, very odd some 30 Minute Missions and Evangelion p-bandai jp kits were released on p-bandai us, but Code Geass, Gaogaigar, etc kits were released like this.

edit: speaking of p-bandai, the next NAOKI kit release has been revealed: 1/100 Eximpulse. Kinda looks a bit like his previous Tall Strike Gundam Glitter design.

I like the Witch Gundam so far. They're very Reconguista meets IBO. Its a good aesthetic.

Damn, I might just get the Exia and the Impulse. I don't know what it is, but I just love the SEED line so much. So much so that nearly half of my models (14 MG/HiRes) are all from SEED/Destiny.

Oh damn, so the HiRes Astray Red Frame Powered Red, an alternate of the Astray Red Frame, is also up for pre-order. That one also looks really nice, tbh.

Deffo getting that Blast Impulse. Think it's weird it only has one javelin but ah well. I just love that pack and color scheme.

Got the Shokew. Hope they do more Victory Grunts in the future.

Still bummed that the Gustav Karl from Hathaway's Flash never got a release. Closest we got is the Gihren's Greed version. Maybe they'll make a kit to promote movie 2.

I want a model kit of the shitty first Gundam toy that doesnt look anything like a Gundam.

Decided to try this out. Ordered four models, The original Gundam, Char's Zaku II, Barbados Lupus Rex, and Kimaris Vidar.

Do you have any tools? I'd recommend having a pair of clippers, a hobby knife and some tweezers.

I have been making Warhammer Models for a while, so yes I have some tools.

Speaking of the Lupus Rex and the Kimaris Vidar, I really wish Bandai would release more MG models of the IBO line. The MG Barbatos is still, hands down, one of the best models I've ever seen and built. The balance and articulation on that thing is simply superb.

HG Code Fairy kits arrived today, put together the Efreet Jaeger. I've been a big fan of the HG Efreet variants in general, but this is definitely the nicest yet. Really like the periwinkle blue and white color scheme, especially with the color separation on the head and shoulders. Once again making me hope they put out the custom Kampfer from that game, the MS-18NF Titania, as a kit too.

In other p-bandai news, they finally showed off the two limited tie-in kits for the Cucuruz Doan's Island movie, and Doan's Zaku has some really nice armor damage built into the mold◊.

How are Full Mechanics when it comes to holding up over time? I have to admit, none of the 1/100 line except for the GINN Gladiator, Ex Impulse, and Aile Calamity are catching my eye. I already have the Eclipse, but the Maneuver Striker pack just makes it look way too busy to really appreciate.
