Raphael debuted in the same game as Talim, and was also directly impacted by the Evil Seed. No reason to not believe he'd return.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyStill, Cassandra has a better chance than him.
To be honest, I have no idea how Okubo will deal with all of this crammed into 23 characters. It's obvious some of the 19 from SCI will be left out, and some more from SCII as well.
EDIT: YOSHIMITSU, HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN HIM
About Raphael: He was impacted by something different from the Evil Seed, that being direct contact with Soul Edge when he fought Nightmare. He got Malfested from that fight; Amy got Malfested herself due to treating Raphael's wounds.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...This might be Astaroth's best design yet & his moveset looks even better than before.
Bout damn time they confirm a Korean character, as much I love her design I'm not feeling pink being the dominant color even if it is base on her Soul Blade outfit. Orange always made her stand out more.
I just finally realize why some of these trailers been lackluster for me. They keep using the same music for the reveals. A shame since a lot of their Leit Motif were really good.
You're missing Inferno & if I'm going to be a smartass about it you're also missing Arthur.
Edit: Yoshi is already confirm
No 1 ever remembers Han Myong

Actually, Inferno was already confirmed in the game, so I didn't count it.
Wait, Yoshimitsu was confirmed in the game?

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...We still don't know if that's actually Inferno or a skin but that's pretty semantic

Hiiiiii I'm back from EVO and getting a ton of time in at the demo booths for SC 6. Booth had Mitsurugi, Sophitia, Xianghua, Nightmare, Kilik, Groh, Ivy, Siegfried, Yoshimitsu, Zasalamel, Maxi, Taki, and Geralt available to play. I decided to stick with Sophitia just to get a feel for the game and how much she's changed (she hasn't really changed that much). Movement feels super satisfying, Lethal Hit is really cool and always feels so good when it happens. If anyone wants to know more you can ask me.
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughInferno appeared in a Story trailer.
...Is the Clothing Damage as good as it was on SCIV?

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...What do you mean? If you're asking if it affects gameplay, it does not. It's purely an aesthetic thing that happens when you get a Lethal Hit or KO someone with a Critical Edge.
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughRaphael was impacted by the Evil Seed, but I didn't say he became malfested from it. the Evil Seed is what set his story in motion.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAnd with Mina's return all of my SC series mains have been revealed. I'm digging her new look and she still looks just as fun to play.
Now to wait and see if we get any more newcomers.
x4
I know, that's why I said he could be an alt outfit.
& to answer your other question
x5
Got some questions, watching finals right now.
At this point Cervantes is pretty much a given. Just gotta wait for that reveal trailer...
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeAnd after Spanish Zombie Pirate Man, almost everyone I want is in (I have zero hope for Amy making it, so whatever on her). Though yeah, kinda hoping for at least one or two more new faces at this point.
but wheres the floaty eyeball guy?
New theme music also a boxRaphael not being in would SUCK. I'd be mad. If he is in no dumb vampire Raphael. Give me classic cocky jerk SC 2 Raphy.
I'm so glad Mina is back. And she looks really good too!
I'm sill surprised I'm not the only Charade fan.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyCharade's probably my favorite of the mimic fighter characters this series has had, but that may be due to my infatuation with oculothoraxes (which itself probably comes from being a huge Kirby fan whose favorite enemies were Waddle Doo and Kracko).
I doubt it'd return, but I'd sure be nice...
Why wouldn't it return? How hard can it be to program a mimic fighter?
Because Edge Master is around and has more...well, character
Also may or may not be God idfk. Just found Time Powers in the pocket dimension Astral Chaos.
Oh c'mon, since when did having one mimic character meant the other couldn't be in the game? SC 1 did it & SC 6 sure as hell has the hardware to make it happen.
MINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-EXPLODES-
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole! After SCV's 3 mimics were lambasted, I'd be surprised if we even got one this time around. Even Tekken 7 didn't have a mimic for the first time since Tekken 2. And the Soul series has forgone mimics in the past, as recently as SCIV. Plus, none of the mimics have much in the way of personality (Olcadan being the exception, hoo hoo).
Charade is a cool design, but is otherwise a nobody.
Edge Master has connections to a lot of characters, but he himself is just... uh... stoic?
Inferno's personality is already manifested through Nightmare.
Olcadan meanwhile fucked with the gods so bad that they had to give him an owl head to make him less intimidating, and then locked him in a labyrinth anyway because of how shook they were. And he straight up just waited it out before returning into an age that had long left him behind. But did he give up and retire like a sad old owl man? Helllll no, he went out and kicked more butt, then got so bored of you all not being good enough challenges that he started a school to teach you how to suck less.
Look at that, he just karate chops Soul Edge into oblivion. Not impressed.

this place needs me hereI still think Olcadan and Charade can easily be implemented, with other, specific movesets. Heihachi's for Olcadan, and Wave Sword/Grieve Edge for Charade.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI find it hard to believe they even take any spots to begin with. Not that I would be complaining if Wanderlust suggestion came to be.
Raphael's chance is low. It won't cover SCII's ending yet.
Xianghua fights Inferno at the end of SCI.
Now, could you help me remember which SCI character I forgot?
